Simone is definitely trying for a publicity stunt probably. And Toya was apparently securing a spot next season by dropping that tea about Curtis on WWHL.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Thank you. My mind was drawing a blank. And agree. Though I loved Laura Allen on the original 4400 and Dirt. That is so cool. Thank you!! And yes, I remember in the 'Earshot' episode of Buffy.

Y&R: March 2025 Discussion Thread
3-14 Yeeeah I don't know how I feel about that. Well, I guess first of all I did love that what I said about Monday was true. A story being Saw ripoff, B story being Claire/Kyle/Summer, and the real interesting story aka the Damian storyline which had movement and yet another twist with the reveal that Damian is only the CEO not only being pushed to C plot with Amy out of town, but vanished after Tuesday like I suspected. Really ugh. What hurt the reveals in that story...which have actually been good...is the story being jerked around in terms of it vanishing at odd moments. Now about Wednesday's twist now that I saw the whole episode...uhhhhh. Unless it turns out that Alan is really Martin, his twin, it really does not make sense. I just cannot see Ashley having a crazy Jigsaw-like friend...regardless of Ashley's history. And now he wants to marry Tracy, too? Lord...shock value for shock value reasons. And Tracy was actually happy. That said...I did love Friday's coda of Tracy looking at the phone. If this silly story turns into a Tracy story...well, I love seeing Beth Maitland so I'm not against it, but still...ugh. And Friday was a mess. The whole episode felt like JG was just tired of the story (he ain't alone) and rushed through everything. I loved seeing Chance in cop mode and I continue to like the odd couple of Nick and Billy, but I was over Sharon, The Giggly Heffa, and Their Misadventure last week. It did cross my mind that they might get out without knowing it's Alan. And that could be juicy. But I still question...why them? He has no history with either really. And the fact it was being done like Alan is Jigsaw just makes this Saw fan (who just found out Saw 11 is cancelled today) highly annoyed. It's been so long since I've seen Chloe that I was glad to see her. Even if it was with Chelesa. And NO I don't want to see Kevin. And I enjoyed Chance being there for Summer. Overall, stupidity aside, it was a decent week outside of Friday.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA A little bit better, but like above...I felt this episode was just...ok. It's already starting off bad with Porsha going back to her old ways of trying to control the narrative. And as she would say herself WRONG ROAD, WRONG ROAD, WRRROONG RO. If this is how she's going to be after all of this time...then one of my feet will go ahead and be out the door. I didn't like it before she left, and my tolerance for it has only gotten lower since she's been gone. She should have learned...even with Production playing her as their favorite...that she cannot always have it that way. There will always be someone who can easily poke holes in her narrative. Last week it was newbie Kelli. This week it was Drew. And Drew ain't a newbie so regardless of Drew's deluded ways, Drew can build a case due to her having more authentic moments than Porsha. Also Drew has her fans. Wrong move. At least...for now...Drew ain't giving her what Porsha clearly wants...deflection off that divorce. I felt the episode got better once it stopped focusing on the Trials of Porsha and focused on the fact this is an ensemble show. Shamea continued to be giving fashion and real story with her story with the surrogate. So did Kelli with her talk about her ex-husband and her trying to expand her business...which I actually liked as I am industry-adjacent. Meanwhile, we got a little bit more of a picture of who Angela is as a Housewife and so far, so good. And her starting to clock Shamea a bit will surely leave to a good rivalry since they both are coming across formidable. Brit and her questionable husband is just...there. PORSHA. She was just there making drama with Drew just to make drama with Drew. I felt she explained herself muuuuuch better when she had her luncheon with Kenya. And I really wished that Production has focused in on that. The fact that Kenya and her had such a history and so many people were looking forward to them headlining this new generation of girls TOGETHER. THIS was a moment that was years in the making and one of the best moments of the episode. But we can't have nice things on this show. But Production are bound and determined to punish Kenya so...moving on. lol. And knowing how Dennis acts, Porsha knew better than to threaten him with moving his child away from him. That coda scene was exactly why I didn't want Porsha back. Also why I was Team Kelli last week. KENYA. I don't care if she was in the background like a porcelain doll because she was giving looks and expressions. And like I said...her meeting with Porsha was a moment in the making so so disappointed that Production did not give us more than what we got cuz they want to be petty and spiteful. Looks like she's coming in hot next week and hope it's true. SHAMEA. Like I said...THIS is how a FOH to HW should be. She's giving good moments. She's giving friendship and connections. And she's giving real story. And now...she's about to have a rivalry with Angela. No notes. DREW. Well someone has to be the deluded Housewife. And with ShebySheBroke gone, that would have to be Drew. At least with Drew though, there was usually some truth mixed in with all the delusion which is why I'm not at all hating on her at the moment. I still have the reunion from last weekend on my mind so it might be coloring my perspective on her. I don't think Dennis is the greatest producer in the world, but I don't think she is sleeping with him, either. Not yet anyway. And then that fourth wall breaking with Porsha...she wants to film with her producer and her singing...AND? Now if they get scenes that have nothing to do with those two...THEN come at her. Not before. KELLI. My favorite newbie so far. And she continued to give me more. She seem more toned down which helped. But she has such a bubbly personality that I find myself liking. And her being open enough to talk about her ex-husband stealing all that money was something else. But good to see that her mind is on her legacy for her four girls and expanding her business. There was just something about those restaurant scenes and I don't mean the men hehe that I really liked, and I really would like to know if it gets finished by the end of the season. ANGELA. Mildly intrigued. Charles Oakley is going to be a whole menace, ain't he? lol. But as long as he cooks like he was with those lovely looking steaks that made my mouth water, I'm good. Part of me feels like Angela is just there. But then part of me see how she moves and then I go hmmmm. Like her vs Shamea and calling out the fact that yes, Shamea has acted like Porsha's lapdog for YEARS. And she is not poor at all. The potential is so there. BRIT. Fake. Phoney. Where's the Kim Richards gif? You know the one. And where are my taglines? That's how I felt.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOP Now that I finally got some time...that reunion child... I know I said Part 1 was solid, but I was hoping that the girls would gang-up on Messy Mia like what happened to Brynn at the NY reunion or Wig at the RHOA s10 reunion. Well...Part 2 definitely did that for me. Gizelle and Mia may both be Production's favorites, but if Production has to choose it was going to be Gizelle. The proof was in that lovely unseen footage of Mia getting aggressive at Ashley's Drag King event. But the slow but steady gang up on Mia from Gizelle to Wendy to Stacey was superb. And then Part 3...it was STACEY'S turn!! Not that Keiarna was not already on her case during Part 2, but Wendy getting the tea from Happy Eddie who got it from TJ was crazy!!! Stacey done came up onto this show and pulled the Kenya/Walter Special on the audience??? Not that TJ can be counted as completely reliable, but it does not help that over the last few episodes of the season, Stacey's mask slipped. And I see her tell is getting bass in her voice when confronted by something that is probably true vs when she knows it's not and tries to 'bimbo' her way out of it. What followed was a comedy of errors that had me tickled. It gave me RHOM reunions with the chaos and also had me thinking that I would love to see all the ladies (Gizelle, Wendy, Ashley, Keiarna, Stacey Jacqueline) back next season cuz they were a whole ki-ki in the last part of the reunion and showed...sad as it is for me to say...that La Dame Karen and Mia aren't needed. Speaking of La Dame Karen...that unseen footage...smh. Hades continues to still be in a snowstorm because I am still agreeing with Gizelle. That was messy of Production to show. Almost like they want to bury her...which is ironic now that we know that RHOP is going on PAUSE rather than starting to shoot the next season at the end of the month with Karen in prison. Not that Karen helped herself because that was bad acting on display and doing a false narrative. I was disgusted she would even try. I am glad life has been so crazy that I have had time to sit on this. Because after watching it, I was not sure how I felt about the reunion. Or honestly if I liked the crazy energy of it. With some weeks gone by now...I actually liked it. With that said... LA DAME KAREN. GIRL, NO. While I liked how the ladies kept her presence alive with fun shade, that last bit of unseen footage was such a bad look for her. And the ladies snowballed on it from there. The tea of Wendy knowing who was in the car with Karen...not that Karen did not mention she was not alone in the car. All of the past conversations from Cha Cha to even Mia to Ashley call everything about Karen into suspect. So it will be interesting to see where she goes from here after prison. MIA. GIRL, BYE. So let me get this straight? Mia worked so hard to get from side character to sidekick to main character...and then...she ran??? I cannot believe how weaksauce Mia has gotten. She fought all season for that throne that Karen is no longer on...only to be bested by the tag-team duo of Gizelle and Wendy. Gizelle with her well-played game of chess to Wendy being over everyone around her lying to her and taking no prisoners. You know she's getting torn up when Jacqueline her representative sat there quick as a mouse. Even now...with the recent reveal that she's back with Inc again...Wendy and Gizelle had her pecked...her life is all a storyline, and it was disgusting that she would use her kids for a storyline in the first place. And she don't even like in Potomac anymore?...bye, bye trick. GIZELLE. Her best reunion. I loved her taking potshots at Mia in Part 1. But Part 2 she was turning on the screws and I loved it. And then she was dropping bombs. Mia no longer lives in Potomac aka why is she on the show. Talking about the unseen footage (which Production was kind enough to show), adding to the appearance of a violent Mia. And co-signing with Wendy how she is clearly doing a storyline with her and her men. Not to mention the paternity storyline that she poked holes in by timeline. Meanwhile, Gizelle's rivalry with Stacey took on levels in Part 3. She kept telling her to handle the TJ situation with a phone call before Production got ahold of that tape. And Stacey stood her ground. So that rivalry will be fun to see next season. Oh, and very happy that she is still with Dark Chocolate. I really enjoyed their date this season. WENDY. Darn she bitter. But I didn't mind it. Because Wendy was on fire. Being hurt by Karen had Wendy not taking anyone's lies. Part 2 with Mia and tag-teaming her with Gizelle. And then Part 3 with Stacey. I doubt her and Gizelle will stay on the same side, but...we will see. ASHLEY. Of course, she would get her licks in on Karen. And her vs Wendy...who won...was just her looking for an issue to keep her relevant. KEIARNA. She said she felt like Stacey had been lying in Part 1 about TJ. And Part 2 she kept saying it. So you know she felt vindicated. Meanwhile, why is she still with that man? STACEY. Stacey, Stacey, Stacey...not the Walter??? lol smh. But the fact she stood ten toes deep in that mess was something else. It was only a matter of time before Production got that footage off Mia. She should have just told on herself. Still, it was a mess. Wendy and Gizelle said it best. Given how much the fans loved Stacey, it would be an uphill battle to get back into their good graces if she got caught in a lie so might as well resolve it quickly before Production resolve it FOR YOU. And she knew she was in the wrong cuz like I said earlier...her tell is that she gets bass in her voice. And that monologue? Ms Quad she ain't!! Still overall a great reunion. And I can't wait for them to return.

And while silly, those cameos did have purpose...something that I'm used to (usually) when B&B does them. That said...I love the tea that there IS a fashion show coming up.

No one. BUT to be fair...B&B has been known to deal with current hit cameos as well. But I don't mind them doing what they usually do which is usually cameos tied to other shows in the CBS lineup.

I was laughing cuz as soon as I saw it, I thought Smitty and you posted seconds after me. 😜 Taste. Which I see you have with liking Jacob too with his nice onion. But seriously lol, I'm not as down on Derek as everyone else cuz himbo (and will holler if he ever gets a scene that feels Ronn Moss coded), but I agree. A few more shirtless scenes wouldn't hurt.

For sure. AMEN. Hahahha. YES. Same. Very much so. But I like that several of the characters have nuances to them. Given how Dani has started off and how she shifts, I'm sure this coming mini-week (since there is no Thursday or Friday episode), she will shift again. I disagree. The writing and acting has given Dani moments where you root for her. But it has also given moments where you want to shake/slap Dani. It's one step forward, two steps back with her at times and it's quite maddening. But it seems they want Dani to be a gray character. I'm not against it, but I do hope she grows out of it on one hand. On the other hand, it's refreshingly (for modern soaps) human.
