BTG: First-ever role recast!
Yet. But like I said the other day (and only speaking for myself), it does sound like the Nicole/Ted/SilkPress/Eva storyline will start to have a build through next month leading into May Sweeps and that would increase how much Ted is seen and what he does. Which is why I leaned into the grind possibility. With the news of the retweets, I am kinda leaning into the perhaps he was not the first choice, but the one available possibility. No disrespect to the actor meant.

BTG: First-ever role recast!
It got mentioned. Though I am not sure if it was here or in the main article thread. I could see that. Especially now with the news of MJ retweeting tweets that people asked for him back. We see each other. re: Derek turns stalker Not Nellie Oleson. Is American Dreams the tv show that had Brittany Snow on it? If so...ooo.

3-17 Leave it to Billy to make the kidnapping all about him. smh. Not that Giggly Heffa was much better. Okay start to the week. The suspense with Tracy and Alan was crazy. And that last scene with them made me wonder if...dare I say...did the wrong twin die after all? Things to make you go hmmm. My apologies for if this sounds harsh, but given that JG always does a dark tale before he winds up exiting a show...was this episode a sign? Because the whole kidnapping was all a SAW rip-off. And now characters are talking about life and how important it is. It would be one thing if this was a way to see Sharon and Phyllis spin off into new interesting directions, but since I don't see that happening...hunni want is this? I was happy to see Chance, Nick and Sharon talking, and even the Giggly Heffa with her kids. But it was just kinda...THERE. Outside of Tracy. I wouldn't mind that at all. I love him. Very. AH is at her best when they allow Victoria to be an icy bitca. It's a shame they wasted so many of her years with her as romantic heroine though she had chemistry with the actors mentioned.

True, BUT a watchable trainwreck. I am still mentally hollering at her impromptu photoshoot in jail. I agree. Issues and all, Dani is frustratingly relatable. And I like the layers she has. But that could be to the strength of how Karla Mosley plays her that I can want to shake her one moment and give her a hug the next. Nah. I think that is just how Nicole comes across with people, but with the immediately family like Andre it was very maternal. At least to me. Though we don't know all of Andre's secrets yet so I can't help but wonder if it's intentional. Same. It has been a light SilkPress/Eva week so I was glad to have a scene with them. She literally said Dani did that when we the audience saw Dani was not even at the country club while it was going down. She's been told since Episode 1 (and several of us have mentioned the scene up to now including me) how the people of Fairmont would treat her once she married Bill. So she can't be shocked that the country club FOUNDED by the family Bill divorced himself from would be slighting her every chance they get. Or the people who work there who worship the Duprees.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Somewhere Larsa is laughing. Same. I originally was not planning on watching Season 5 either due to what happened to Monica, but it was a pretty great season. And that SLC Dinner Party from Hell will always be a favorite. The ladies knew they had to have a superb season after the excellent Season 4. Mission accomplished. There were no filler episodes for me even when there were episodes with no Mary. Mary, Mary, Mary. Her best season. She was still her, but adding so many layers to her. Showing how a Housewife SHOULD be. Good work. And I liked The Bob for the most part until the end...though I felt any issues I had with her at the end was put aside during the reunion, but you will see for yourself. And oh, how, I hated Britani, but she DID manage to win me over at the end with her comic relief and honestly her taste in men. I think Production finally found themselves a successful FOH for this show. I can't answer those next two paragraphs lol except to say...I look forward to your thoughts on the reunion since it touches on both. You said it! The ladies had a lot to prove after Season 4 and the result was a season that was very enjoyable, rewatchable, and old school Housewife season. And currently filming with some tea already spilled.

Finally got around to my rewatch. And...yeeah, so not a cliffhanger. Though it did work as a a nice appetizer. Still...I was bummed. THINGS I LIKED. DANI. These writers. One thing that I've loved since the beginning has been how divisive she is. For the things, I like about her, there's always something I don't like about her. If anything, the writers be writing slanted to her. She can be so annoying half the episode, only to be sympathetic by the end of it, or vice versa. Right now, she's in her sympathetic moment, and Karla Mosley be selling it. But awwww at the hints that Dani is about to become an alcoholic. DANI/ANDRE. I continue to love how Andre is there for her. And regardless of what Dani says, she clearly likes him. Whether it turns to love or just stay in this FWB bubble, they have been enjoyable. They definitely have chemistry. And not every FWB has to end in love or just friends. They will do like this...for now. But a growing connection is not a bad thing to have. I also really loved Andre gave a heads-up to Nicole. NICOLE/TED/SILKPRESS SHEILA. Say it ain't so. Not cracks in the foundation that is SilkPress and Eva. That said...it is interesting that they both have a secret over the other one. And I'll just say what I said already...I do feel that Silk Press Sheila might be crazy, but she really is telling parts of the truth through all of the lying. I'm looking forward to the full reveal in terms of the timeline of the affair. ASHLEY. Good to see she finally got scenes with her mama. And those were good scenes, too. It was nice to get some of her POV on Derek being stupid enough to run off and her feelings about the kiss. I'm not sure I'm down for a triangle with her, Derek, and Andre, but I'm curious to see where it goes. THINGS I DID NOT LIKE. GIRL, BYE. Now, Hayley, you did that to yourself at the country club. Dani...for once...did not do jack. I also wish that she would follow her gut. She's already seeing the Bill/Dani dynamic. She's already pointing it out too much. Those two like to get a rise out of each other. She's just there.

BTG: First-ever role recast!
I see it. The more comfortable she has grown in the role, it's clear she's a good actress. She even reminds me of a friend of mine with her acting. I do feel she's been lumped in with the actor who plays Derek. And even with that, I feel he's (too slow) growing into his role. In fact, he screams 'actor who is only good if he is playing psycho a la RSW on DAYS' to me. Or any actor or actress who can't play a good character because they come across as bland/boring but give them crazy/evil and they bloom. That's what my instinct tells me at least. I was more thinking of the cases for Kate Roberts and Billie Reed where they both had periods of time off canvas between recasts. And I think Austin was the only 'sudden' recast in that period of major character recasts. But it's been a loooong time since I thought about it, but remember it discussed in SOD. I want to say it even made the BEST&WORST that year. I could be wrong. I was not watching regularly during RKK taking over for Bo and Peter Reckell reclaiming the role so I cannot speak on that too much. See? This is the first picture I've seen that is giving Ted to me.

3-19 Well for a short week, I liked it. I think my only disappointment was that this episode had no more of Luna/Sheila. The theme: fallout. I've liked what I saw in both main stories. I loved Poppy vs Luna. It looked like Luna was just mowing all over her mother. Therefore, I was happy to see Poppy got some good licks in at the end. And then the reveal to Sheila...? That's just trouble waiting to happen. Scratch that, I didn't like Luna saying to Poppy that she's basically going to aim herself at Will. And the fallout from the Takeover. I liked it even though it ended basically being status quo. Or maybe I should say that I liked the acting. We all know JMW gives good bitca and that was on full display on this episode. Meanwhile, Carter making up with Ridge was awww. But now they are just walking all over him. And Brooke...is just being Brooke. Le sigh. I see a lot of moving parts that intrigue me (where does Daphne go from here, is Brooke really not going to help her daughter, Hope's next step, the hint of couture aka fashion show coming) but it's funny how Hope is basically out on her butt like she said she would be if Carter gave in. Good cliffhangers going into March Madness.

BTG: First-ever role recast!
Yeah, as I've been dealing with stuff this weekend, it's been interesting to see how everyone is reacting to the news (and apparently Kristian Alfonso). I'm sure these newbies will get the hang of how soaps work. But them turtlenecks aren't going to hit the same for sure. Given how active Maurice was online, I feel as well that perhaps he was not adjusting to the daily grind as well. It's safe to say that the Nicole/Ted/Leslie storyline has been set to explode in May Sweeps and that means it will build over the next month and perhaps MJ saw he was not up to the major commitment to the storyline.
