He's almost 70. I am fine with the gray hair. The man hasn't let himself go. He still looks in great shape. I prefer it to his dye job and certainly to the weird dye job Josh Taylor has. SN has weird things going on with his hair too most of the time. But I think people like Maurice Benard should cut the dye jobs out too. I am pretty sure Drake's mullet went out of style in about 1993. In 1995, I was getting concerned. By 1996 or 1997, it looked like he was just too lazy to get a haircut. <<<<<<<< This is an unacceptable look for a man appearing on National Television. What's scary is I think it's actually a pic from the 2000's lol. I love BD/Lucas, but he isn't the hottest guy around. But Sami was never supposed to be the hottest girl either, so it works on that level.

I can't believe the show let Drake have that awful mullet looking hair until like 1998. It was about 10 years outdated when he finally cut it. I remember thinking back then the least believable thing about Days was not devils it was the fact two women were fighting over a man with that awful haircut. lol I love his silver fox hair. He looks so much better. I am sure BD could get a better cut. It looks like he has a fair amount of hair, so someone should be able to figure it out. I guess the one good thing about the EJ recast is he is nowhere near as smoking hot as JS so the Lucas/Sami/EJ triangle is a little more believable.

Agreed. I liked Sam and John McBain and Carly and Todd. Once they both changed characters that dynamic was gone. Also, I don't think McBain and Sam had much of a shot because she was like 8 months pregnant and the show was still ride or die with JaSam. It's almost like the writers from Guza on down resent RH for being too popular to fire. Poor Liz has had some awful stories. The Nik affair, the shirtless doctor they tried to pair her with, the months she was in the loony bin chatting with that old lady that made ugly jewelry? It doesn't seem to bother RH. She still gives it her all, but she really deserves more respect. I don't know why Jason doesn't just grow a pair and tell Carly to back the eff off. It must be the lingering brain damage. Any normal human would have left Sonny and Carly and their stupidity in the dust a decade and a half ago.

Yeah it is quick for Liz to move on, but Liz has had quite a few loves of her life. We all know it's Lucky, but it's been Jason, Nik, Ric, Franco, Drew, etc throughout the years. So Gh has always been fast and loose with the Liz romances. I actually am ready for the Carly/Britt/Jason stuff. Carly will be Carly as usual, but Britt is a worthy opponent.

Isn't that basically what Michael Easton is? Just greasy hair and a monotone voice? Could you imagine the things Becky could do if they actually cared about Liz?

I think BD aged okay. He was never super hot to me just cute and now he's like middle age cute. LK does look younger than him though. She never ages. I think she might look younger than she did in 1995. ^^^^^Seriously, who can compete with that? James Scott is nearly perfect looking. DF is fine, but I am not wowed. I think facial hair would help.

I am not a fan of Nu-Ej so far, but I will give him a chance. James Scott was so damn handsome it's hard to live up to that on a physical level alone. And I am a huge Lumi fan, so I never have bought this EJami love story. At the end of the day though, AS and JS had chemistry and I am not sure I see it here with DF.

Well I mean they keep giving Easton and Howarth new characters lol. GH is not afraid to try and try again! I have no use for Sam, but it seems like Britt/Jason have some fans and I don't think Dante/Sam are where it's at. Maybe they should try to get GV back as Lucky. The only Sam pairing I ever liked.

I don't think the show has ever cared about RH/Liz that much. But she is popular enough to make most anything work and still have a substantial fanbase. Friz was the worst pairing in the world and it still had a following. They can throw her at Finn and her fans will probably still support it or at least tolerate it. Not sure why they don't try Finn with Sam. ME and KM do have chemistry when they both try (which is rare lol)

I am going to be honest, I never noticed them not kissing. I always just thought it was the actors comfort level. Michael and Willow have had like 1000 scenes miles apart. I like Sasha but I can't say I noticed anything weird until she showed up with a 6 month baby bump lol. But happy for Sofia! Literally the mother of all cliffhangers and it all happened so fast. Bam! Lily's pregnant. Sonny leaves Brenda in the rain. Jax and Brenda have sex. Jax demands Brenda marry him (a little creepy in retrospect). Lily doesn't go see her father. Lily blows up. Jax and Brenda got married. It all happened in like 3 days. Weirdly, I don't even think of Lily as a grey character just one I wanted to go away. And I HATE the show pretends like Sonny loved her and she's the ultimate paragon of virtue. It's been 25 years and I'm still not over it lol.

What about Sam on GH? It wasn't a miscarriage exactly, but we had to hear about her broken uterus for approximately 7 years after that. I still don't know how Sam had two kids without a uterus to this day. And I will never not be grossed out by Maxie miscarrying Lulu and Dante's kid and immediately having sex with Spinelli and getting pregnant with Georgie. EWWWWW..

Yeah poor Nicole. I don't think Rafe was ever the father of her baby. It was Ej, Ej, then Daniel. Marlena's slow motion tumble down the penthouse stairs is epic. As is John, Kate, Roman just standing there while she tumbles. What a stupid story. That whole thing was awful, but I can't forgive wasting Wayne Northrup in the most thankless role ever.

Nicole was my first thought too. I think GH's Carly has had a few unnecessary miscarriages. Every pregnancy she had was high risk, but she has a bunch of kids lol. Shout out to Marlena's geriatric pregnancy on days. I get that it got that Alex story rolling, but DH was like 60 lol. I highly doubt she could get preggers after a one night stand with another senior citizen named Roman.

Umm...I had a cat named Marlena. So embarrassing. I was sure I was going to be a psychiatrist when I grew up lol. I stopped watching when her and Drake got fired and came back the minute they did. How can you not love someone who had a tv movie made about their life?! Such an icon!

Lol. At least Lily was a credible threat and was basically a nice person. She wasn't an all out villain. Sonny is the one who actually sucks and I didn't realize that as a kid, but he's continued sucking consistently for 2 decades just to remind me lol Anyway, I am FINE with Jax going to Rome and hooking up with Brenda off screen. He's useless now. I have made my Jax love known on here several times, but IR/Jax is just taking up space. He has no point and IR is just not the best representation for GH. I would like for Brenda to be living her best life off screen, but I will sacrifice that for Jax to be written off. Dude, just stop wasting your time on Nina and go find Brenda. As long as Sonny is not in Rome, you're fine Jax. I genuinely don't think we will ever rid ourselves of Carson, so I am good with Brax as a back up offscreen.

This may sound ridiculous because I have loved Marlena since I was a child, but her mere presence gives me comfort. And I can't even imagine the day she is not there. I just think she's amazing. Not the best actress, not winning any awards, but if I have a bad day Marlena/John make it a little better lol.

So gorgeous! What a queen Deidre Hall is!! Still rolling with the crappy writing, horrible sets/lighting, and the overall dumpster fire that is Days to give her fans what they want. I love her and her gaspy and ridiculous acting! And she truly still looks amazing at 73!!! years old.

It's weird how much I hated Lily in real time, but in re-watch I am okay with her. She's annoying and clingy and buys herself a husband, but she's not the worst. Sonny and Lily actually make sense. She would have been a great wife for him. I guess knowing she's going to die a horrible death helps the whole situation, but she really is a tragic victim in Sonny's lies. Vanessa playing crazy is just not in her range. She does decent work and she's gorgeous and charismatic which is why she is/was so popular. She also was generating great chemistry with her co-stars. I don't hate on her emmy win, she revitalized GH at the right time. But she is in no way a "juillard" master thespian lol. She was in no way capable of playing that story and I imagine that is why it fizzled out the way it did. And I won't even get started on wasting VM for an entire year on her playing cutesy games with Jax. Jax will take you back, girl. Jax would likely take you back today. I like Brax a lot, but she should have just left with MB. I always assumed Lynn Herring had it in her. She's always seemed very versatile. And I sorta want to live with her and Wayne Northrop on their awesome ranch lol.

Your memory is better than mine. I thought it was all the same, but clink boom has been re-done so many times lol. Neither here nor there, but I HATED Robin's short hair. Ugh.... I always wished Jason got some of his Jason Q. memories back and it looked like it was headed that way at different times. Brenda's breakdown was just a hot mess. I hated it more than any other Brenda story ever. I could write an entire post about how bad it was. Jax's love cured her I guess? The only good scenes in that entire story were Brenda at Lily's grave and Sonny and Brenda talking at the penthouse for the first time after he left her. Everything else was just cringey overacting. I literally get triggered thinking about Brenda and those tripods at her modeling shoot.

I was not spoiled about Lily either. And I was all what is going on? Brenda is marrying Jax and Lily just died? So good....... I also laugh to this day about no one having much urgency to find Brenda. A madman is actively trying to kill her, but I'm sure she's fine lol. Guza certainly had his moments. But I have to believe that arc was already set in motion by Labine. Jax was just added to the mix once Rena decided to leave. I believe Robin was involved in a Clink/Boom situation and Nik got injured. Jason performed a tracheotomy on him I think lol And it triggered Brenda's nervous breakdown. It was in late 97.

Lol. I remember Clink Boom was the Friday cliffhanger (obviously) and I had to wait all weekend for confirmation of her death. I thought she might have gotten out of the car or something lol. So I understand character hate. Michael seriously needs to go back to being Michael Quatermaine. That was the last time he was interesting. I am pretty sure MB complained about that story. He put a stop to it.

I definitely don't think it's abuse to rejoice in Peter dying. Wes Ramsey is an actor. His performances will be critiqued. That being said, I do kinda feel bad for the guy. I don't think he was actively trying to be the most hated character on GH. He is dead and gone for now so everyone (except LW) got their wish. But on the otherside again, I was ready to throw a party when Lily blew up. And Lilly Melgar seems like a very nice person so I can't judge. I was 10 though lol.

Yeah, ORK was pushing it as far as looking too old to be Belle/Shawn's daughter. ID looks way too old. I think ID's performance becomes bland because she's working so hard to conceal her accent. I saw her do some stuff on the Days app as herself and she was very likable and entertaining. I like Precious Way and I think it was clear with her other projects this was going to be a short term gig. My only complaint about PW is she delivers her lines in a very sing-songy way a lot. Her delivery is weird sometimes. But I think she definitely is charismatic. Raven Bowens so far looks like a fit for the part. Hopefully she works out.

They are like watching paint dry. I honestly find Sasha more interesting than Willow and I think Brando has potential, but they aren't really doing anything with either of them. Idk, I have felt the character of Michael has basically held the show hostage since he was born. I know most people complain about Sonny/Jason/Carly, but I think the birth of Michael was the beginning of the end. And he didn't even grow up to be anything more than a bland, vanilla leading man with no chemistry with any love interest.
