Liam has broken into Marlena's office, but Marlena and Laura see Will outside of the office, and with Laura's history of mental illness, one could easily think that she mistook Liam for Will.  EXCELLENT play on history there.

Valerie noticing that Roman's file was missing....she will keep digging....LOVE THIS!

Jerome Grant has been ARRESTED off of a seemingly abstract description, and nice line about "always a black man."

To balance all the suspense, Eric has a nice romantic evening planned for Nicole.

GOOD ONE!!

Lots of different emotions in this one.

Noah's reaction was natural and I'm glad he pointed out Nick for what he did in the past.

Good history recall with Esther and then Philip having used in Australia.  Good set up for Philip doing a row in the bathroom, and Scott finding him...hmmm could be the start of something beautiful!!  LOL

Karynn and Esther are becoming quite the pair, and this trip to Chicago is going to prove very interesting

What an episode!!  Story moved and you stuck to your style of writing...I enjoyed it a lot.

My girl Karynn is BACK..and it's GREAT to see her ingratiate herself with her family, because those relationships (good or  bad) will help her in the future.  

Avery sung like a canary and told everything.  I wonder what this will mean for her.

The twist of SHEILA being the owner of Newman instead of Jack was great!!  Part of Sheila's master plan. Another layer uncovered.

AND Michael and Victor's scenes were great, and Victor is FREE!!  UH OH Michael!!  He's about to be crushed.

Elizabeth:  What am I gonna do?

Carl:  You’re gonna be fine my dear.  You’re gonna live a long, happy life.  You’re gonna have children of your own, and you’re gonna be that strong foundation for them, as your grandmother was for Rachel, and Rachel will be...for you.

Elizabeth shakes her head in apparent disbelief, and she cries.  

Elizabeth:  How am I gonna live without you?

Carl:  You will find a way.

Carl pulls her in an embrace as Rachel and Cory watch from the door.

Eric’s dad is alive!!!!  WOW!!!!  Great twist and explanation at the end about the years in advance taping..lol

I have a little trouble keeping up with the teens because there are many of them, but i like the party atmosphere that they are in.  Yes you hit it with the music again man..I wonder what that Dee girl is up to.  I bet she’s connected to Vin

Trinty/Sam/Zack - Real conversation between them. I like that.   I bet trouble is abound at this end-of-the-summer bash.

Blair/Reva - Their rivalry has turned into a real hoot and it’s providing comic relief, which is always good for a soap, but things are now getting serious. I wonder what Blair has found out about Reva that we don't already know.

Gary/Todd/Mystery Man - The plot is thickening here. Paul Ryan and the mystery man. Sounds like James Stenbeck, Eric's dad lol.

Cass:  Yeah.  She said she’s gonna get there a little late.

Frankie:  Oh.

Cass:  You seem relieved.

Frankie:  I have to be honest.  I didn’t get a good feeling when she left.  She couldn’t lock her car doors from inside here.

Cass:  You think something’s wrong with Maggie?

Frankie:  I did earlier but I guess I was wrong.  We’ll see her at the party right?

Cass:  Right.

IN A ROOM...Maggie is lying on a cot.   Her hands and ankles are tied.  Her mouth is gagged; eyes blindfolded and unconscious, with Brianna standing over her.  With Maggie’s cell phone, Brianna takes a picture of Maggie.

Brianna:  Yeah Cass, Maggie will be along later.  Not in the way you think though.

Cass (V.O.):  Nothing for you to worry about honey.  Maggie’s fine.

Rachel:  You taught me how to love and trust again.  I had lost Mac, and my mother.  I needed you more than we both even realized.

Carl:  These are my last days, maybe even hours.  I just want to make the most of all of them.

Rachel hugs Carl tightly and her eyes well up.

Sami/Nicole/EJ - I like their squabbles and i hope you are able to capture them more with Sami being her boss.

Valerie/Jerome - Nice interaction with them, but even better was the interjection of Valerie saying she raised him since he was a baby, which makes me question where his mother or father was.  That sets up future story.

Laura/Daniel - Daniel was completely fooled by Liam  until he realized that he treated Abby for her fall.  Good play on the past there to set up this point...what will Daniel's digging on Liam Frasier lead to?

Eric/Marlena - Nice heart to heart, relationship cultivating conversation they are about to have. 

You and I are similar in writing styles and how we play on stories and relationships....makes for an easier, understanding, and entertaining read.  Good episode once again.

 

Movement in this one...

Valerie/Roman/Marlena - Nice continuation from the last episode.  Valerie is going to start digging into Roman's medical records to see if Alzheimer's is a possibility.  The next step to this story, which I will be following to see how you play it out.

Sami/Nicole/EJ- Sami is Nicole's boss...THIS should be VERY interesting!! LOL

Lucas/Kate/Billie - Nice reveal that they are working to bring down Jordan and Sheryl...I can see where this is tying into....the Penthouse Grille.

Victor/Maggie - Nice sweet scene between those two, and now Maggie has ownership of the Penthouse Grille...you are setting up something here...

Great job!!

A lot going on in this episode...

Valerie/Roman/Marlena - Valerie seems extremely important here.  She knew him as Chris Kostichek and everyone else knows him as Roman.  I seem to think she may (inadvertently) know more than she even knows herself.  Interesting start here to that story.

Nicole/Eric/Noelle - Nicole stung Eric and you know that I like when she does that because he uses her as his emotional punching bag way too much.  Doesn't feel good huh Mr Brady?  Good to introduce us to Noelle and her connections to current Salemities.

Kim/Kayla - You know I live for the family moments Lol...Nice good-bye for Kayla and Kim, but you did some foreshadowing with Kayla.  Good way to make the interaction important.

Jordan/Sheryl/Jerome/Lucas/Kate -  Jordan and Jerome were lovers?  I don't think he's too bothered.  He's there to help Jordan and Sheryl and their infiltration scheme.  Lucas smells a rat, and he's enlisting just the right person to help him....Kate Roberts..

John:  And we’re still here...stronger than ever.

Brianna clenches Taylor’s right hand.  Taylor is weakened by her illness.

Brianna:  Mama they told me that it was time.

Taylor:  Yes.  I needed to see you my sweet.  I’m so sorry.

Brianna:  No mama.  I understand why.  

Taylor:  I was so career driven.  I should have been there for you.

Brianna:  Shhhh mama stop it.  I’m a big girl now.  There’s nothing you need to be sorry for.

Taylor:  I put my profession before you.  I shouldn’t have done that.  Maybe things would have turned out different.

Brianna:  You haven’t been the same since…

Taylor:  Since John and Sharlene ruined my life.

Brianna:  They took your spirit from you.

Taylor swallows her saliva in an attempt to gain some strength as she weakens.

Taylor:  I need...I need you to do me a favor.

Brianna:  Mama.  Try to calm down okay.

Taylor:  They ruined my...my career.

Brianna:  Are you talking about John and Sharlene Hudson?

Taylor is getting agitated and it is weakening her.

Taylor:  Yes...I should have...should have finished Sharlene when I had the chance, and that’s what I want you to do.  She destroyed my life.

Brianna:  What is it mama?  I’ll do whatever you want.

Taylor:   I want you to...finish what mama started.  Finish Sharlene Hudson.

Her monitor beeps faster.

Taylor:  I love my sweet Ellen.

Brianna:  I love you, too mama.

Two doctors rush in and Brianna steps aside.  They attempt to save Taylor, but she flatlines.

Brianna:  Mama?  Please save her!

Doctor #1:  She’s gone.  

Doctor #2:  Time of death 6:24pm.

Doctor #1:  I’m very sorry Ms. Benson.  

Brianna has tears in her eyes as her mother has just passed away.

AT THE HUDSON’S...John and Sharlene have just arrived.  John puts his keys on the table while Sharlene shuts the door, and the two of them kiss.  

Brianna (V.O.):  I’m gonna carry out your wishes mama.  I’m gonna finish Sharlene Hudson.

Cass:  You could give me all the money in the world and I wouldn’t have bought that.  I know she’s your friend and all...

Frankie:  I don’t either.

Cass:  What?  You’re actually on my side with this one?

Frankie:  I think she wants to leave Bay City, but it has very little to do with Eric.

Rachel:  And Cass and Frankie have forgiven you for that.  In a way, they wouldn’t even be together if it weren’t for you.

Carl:  I did awful things to Kathleen McKinnon.

Rachel:  Stop it Carl.  Stop punishing yourself for something you can’t even change.  This brain tumor is not payback.  Ask Cory and Elizabeth.  They are devastated that their father’s dying.  Our children love you.  They’re the best of you.  I love...the best of you.  Tomorrow we’ll all honor that.

Russ:  I’m gonna head to the hospital.

Rachel:  The hospital?

Russ:  I’m gonna find out my application status for Chief of Staff.

Carl:  You deserve it.

Rachel:  Yes you do.  I always knew you’d make an amazing doctor.

Russ:  I’m gonna get outta here.

Carl:  We’ll see you tomorrow?

Russ:  Yes I’ll be here.

Rachel:  Thank you Russ...for everything.

Russ:  You’re welcome Rachel.

Russ leaves, and Carl sighs nervously and turns to Rachel.

Carl:  Tomorrow’s the big night.

Rachel:  It’s gonna be a night we will never forget.

They hug.

Frankie:  I’m gonna be busy at the firm, too.  

Cass:  I know Carl’s party is tomorrow.

Frankie:  Yeah.  Work will help me take my mind off of it.

Cass:  Okay honey.  Call me if you need anything.

Frankie:  Thank you.

Cass goes to the front, and opens the door.

Cass:  What the hell are you doing here?  How dare you show your face at my house?
