  1. 😄 How long have you've been watching soaps? Of course Brad will break up Steffy and Finn at some point. Happy couples are boring couples in the soapworld, and Brad is not going to let that happen to Steffy. He needs her to drive story, just like he needed Brooke to drive story during the 90s and early 2000s. He will probably put them back together again (and again, and again....), but it's practically guaranteed that they will break up eventually.
  2. Why?? This makes no sense at all.
  3. "Goede tijden, slechte tijden" is not a German soap, it's Dutch. There is a German version though, called "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten", so it's easy to confuse the two. They are both based on the Australian soap "The Restless Years".
  4. I've not been paying that much attention to Emmerdale recently, but apparently they just had a major "twist".... it turns out that Caleb, the never-before-heard-of half-brother to Cain and Chas is the long-lost illegitimate son to Frank Tate. And now he's here to claim what he sees is his birthright: Home Farm. *sigh* I guess one should be happy that they're using the show's history (in a way) but this "twist" just feels tired and uninspired. I have a hard time picturing the Frank Tate I knew giving Faith Dingle the time of day. Sure, he had a drinking problem, so I guess something might have happened if he was drunk out of his mind... But that doesn't explain why Caleb would see Home Farm as his birthright. Frank only owned it for about 9 years, and it has had several owners since then. It's just a flimsy excuse to pit him against Kim. It would have made a little more sense, and used even more Emmerdale history, if Caleb had been a product of an affair between Faith and Gerald Verney. The Verney's owned Home Farm (or Miffield Hall as it was known back then) for centuries. They lost it when Gerald had to sell up after the death of his uncle George, the last Verney who lived at Miffield Hall back when the show began in 1972. That would have made his claim about "birthright" seem a little more plausible. But I seriously doubt that many people involved in Emmerdale today even know this piece of history.
  5. One of the all-time greats of daytime drama. R.I.P.
  6. Swedish version with Agnetha Fältskog (of ABBA fame) who played Mary Magdalene in the first Swedish production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1972.
  7. I don't think idiots, 9 year olds, or even idiotic 9 year olds enjoy this show right now.
  8. I guess you can't be around Ridge Forrester for long without picking up some bad habits....
  9. In this instance, yes I am Team Liam. Or maybe not Team Liam, more like Team Anti-Hope. I can't stand it when people act so incredibly stupid as she is doing right now. But then again, this whole show is currently made up of people doing nothing but acting stupid. It's hard to imagine that once there was a time when I actually enjoyed this show. Now it's just trash. And not even the funny kind of trash.
  10. No she should not. If she had a problem with Liam then she should have brought it up back then when it was actually relevant. They've been married and happy for a long time now. But she knew that Liam didn't like the idea of her working with Thomas again after everything he has done, but she did it anyway. And now she has the nerve to act all offended. I'm not saying that Liam's behaviour in the past hasn't been questionable to say the least, but in this instance I'm totally Team Liam. Hope is completely clueless and gullible.
