Jax has become really expendable. The character is not needed and certainly does not need to be recast. Jax dying creates way more drama than him being alive (not that the show does drama anymore). Jax should've been a casualty of the big mob war that seems to have disappeared overnight. 🙃

What in the hell is going on with Howarth's hair? I mean, it's always bad but it's even worse today. Is it shaved in the back? Why is it tied up in a knot on the top of his head? They can't seriously think this looks good. They really need to start explaining Esme's backstory. We can only watch her follow Spencer around in all his scenes for so long. She does not add anything to his scenes and they have zero chemistry. She has no life outside of being glued to his hip. Why is she not getting a job too? I'm looking forward to Spencer working for Cam, though I'm sure Esme will now be at Kelly's 24/7 because god forbid Spencer have a scene without her. Since we didn't get Sonny walking in on Jason/Carly banging, I want Carly to walk in on Sonny/Nina. Give me SOMETHING! So glad that we can utilize a set so Finn has somewhere to live 😂 How cute is Violet with all her missing teeth? LMAO at Violet being like, "Grandpa Jeff is too busy to meet me?!" Love this kid! Man, Chase looked hot today. If that man was in front of me, I would not be sitting around talking to him about Austin, LOL. Loved him kissing Brooklynn on the cheek and bringing Violet flowers. Friday's episode was pretty good. A lot happened between John listening to the recording, Abe getting shot, Jake getting arrested, and everything with Marlena. I'm enjoying John right now. I'm also glad that Abe is getting so much story lately and that they're doing something for his anniversary. We know darn well that Abe isn't dying though, haha. Paulina and Lani just waltzing into the room while Abe is being operated on. Yeah okay. LOL. I also love how the mayor gets shot in the chest and they only have three people working on him. This mobster guy is so laughable. LOL at how he just scurried away from Gabi. Her face says it all.

Watching Thursday's episode and Gabi/Ciara scenes are almost as painful as Ben/Ciara. Gabi whining about how Philip is trying to steal her company. Um, is she not doing the same thing with Titan? 🙄 I hate her. And here's Ciara pretending she knows a damn thing about making good business decisions. This girl is beyond vapid, please stop trying to convince us that she's smart and successful in the working world. I wish a nuke would get dropped on the pub and blow up Gabi, Ciara, Ben, and Jake. And why are Ben and Ciara announcing to the whole town that they're raw dogging it? Jesus, nobody cares. Literally all these two do is make out and f-ck. Absolute worst couple on daytime by a mile. I did laugh at MarDevil texting Ben to ask how the procreation was going. LMAO. Also, why does Bayview not have their own psychiatrists who take over Doug's care from Marlena? Why is a psychiatrist from the hospital 100% in control of Doug's care at a psych facility? lol Who is this cartoon mobster with the slicked-back hair that Jake is talking to? Lordy! I don't care about this. Oh no! Abe! Hopefully this will lead to some good Lani/Gabi drama. Lani shot Stefan, and now Jake's actions led to Lani's dad getting shot.

The Steve/Stefano story was BAD and I mean bad. I was happy to have SN back on the show, but yikes. The accent he was using was horrendous. I think with Joe Mascolo gone, we can assume that Stefano is really dead. I haven't even watched the last two episodes because I saw that it's Cin and Gabi/Jake crap. I just have no motivation to turn on the show on those days.

Agreed that we need more hospital stuff. I was happy to see TJ and Terry the other day. They could be doing more with Britt and Terry being co-chiefs. LMAO at Kevin saying that Spencer can move in and Esme being like, "That works for me!" and Kevin not even acknowledging her besides essentially telling her to go away so he can talk to Spencer alone. I'll crack up if Kevin tells her she can find her own place to live.

I'd be all for a Stella/Phyllis scene. Today was the first time Liz has been on this month and it was so she could flirt with Finn. Lame! Their scenes were so cringe. "My lips... almost touching your lips." Really? Finn is 50+ years old and talks like this? The writers were totally trolling us with that line about how they're acting like high school kids. Can Liz please have a real story and maybe a love interest who isn't Michael Easton character #14? It's weird how Liz was involved in hiding Peter's body, but now she's nowhere near that story? And absolutely no involvement in anything going on with Nik, her nephew Spencer, or her son Cameron? She's not even involved in the search for her own sister. I don't get why they're doing nothing with her. We all know we're not going to be seeing Jeff Webber. The Austin/Olivia scenes are so repetitive. The Sonny/Carly/Jason scenes today had a whole lotta exposition about the Greece story that we already know all about because it's literally happening on the show right now. Was Jason recapping the story really necessary? "I hear you're taking Jason away from us." Lol what. Wasn't Carly just telling Britt last week that Jason is all hers now that Sonny is back? 😂 I can't tell you one thing that happened in the Mildew scenes today.

Charlie and his cute glasses could be causing all kinds of drama with Tripp and Allie but no. Let's kill him off and have Tripp sew instead while Allie plays homemaker. The family dynamics with Charlie/Tripp/Ava had so much potential. There was also a ton of potential for drama if Charlie decided he wanted to be a part of Henry's life. Sigh.

I like Allie but yeah, they've sure made her boring. It's all I could think about during her scenes yesterday. This is a girl in her early-mid 20s, and her biggest concerns are putting her kid to bed and what to make Tripp for dinner (while he's on the couch sewing). This is the best we can do with Sami's daughter? Allie and Tripp are only interesting when Johnny and Chanel are in scenes with them.

If the show wants to keep Judi Evans around, I say they need to just make her Adrienne already. I don't care what stupid explanation they come up with. Just say that Bonnie is somehow Adrienne. Bonnie is so watered down and played out that she's not in the slightest bit entertaining anymore. Justin just looks stupid being with her. I have no idea why Bonnie is still on the show. Say she's Adrienne and use that as a way to get Sonny and Will back in Salem.
