  1. Joan's first interview with Jay Leno. Starts at about 9 minutes.
  2. A part of me wonders if many at Bravo just did not see her views as anything wrong (or even secretly agreed with them). Another part of me wonders if it is because they knew many would start calling for the firings of other Housewives (I've seen calls over Ramona, Luann, Rinna, etc. today). I think the main issue is just many, Andy Cohen chief among them, are very out of touch with their viewer base, and assuming these are silly social media back and forths that everyone will move on from the next time someone drunk tweets. At least someone acknowledged the reality, but it's something that is just going to keep happening unless they want to make more serious changes and try to figure out how to drain some of the toxicity and bigotry from the core of the shows. It's not 2010 or 2011 anymore, and never will be again.
  3. Ryan Phillippe was a guest star on SNL tonight to help plug the new MacGruber show (the video is on their channel as I don't want to clog up the thread).
  4. I don't remember Luke was ever being fatherly toward her either. I remember most of Luke's time in the late '90s and '00s as only caring about himself. I don't really care enough to go back and check though.
  5. RIP Meat Loaf. https://variety.com/2022/music/news/meat-loaf-singer-bat-out-of-hell-rocky-horror-dead-dies-1235159445/
  6. I can see the layout for the Katherine and JoAnn relationship on Y&R (I assume the plan all along was for this to be a yearning but unbalanced relationship between two very lonely women and the conclusion was in the end likely going to be what happened onscreen, just that version was much more sped up), but the Sharon stuff baffles me in what the message or intent was going to be. If the idea was that Sharon would eventually accept herself and move on with her life, with Julie coming around to support her, I wish they had managed to work that in in a more subtle way - the audience likely still would have lashed out, but maybe not as vocally.
  7. Adam McKay? I imagine it will be a pity party for "economically anxious" terrorists.
  8. To be honest, neither do I, just had her in my head because of her pouting yesterday over Ossoff calling out her lies about voting rights.
  9. And of course the originator, Susan Collins, who was fuming after Jon Ossoff called her ass out.
  10. Speaking out against violence by cheering protestors being run over? What a rotting husk she is.
  11. I do get big "just a job" feelings from Ellen, but then I think she only worked with Anne for about three years anyway.
  12. One of the most brutal ratios I've seen in a while.
  13. Her posts are sickening, especially the cartoon with the motorist bragging about running over protestors. That's deranged. Questions should be asked of Bravo about how she was ever let through.
  14. https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/willem-dafoe-saturday-night-live-host-katy-perry-1235156515/ Willem Dafoe is a huge coup for the show - I never imagined he would want to host. I hope they will give him the material he deserves.
  15. Sad to hear about Yvette and Andre. I remember Andre talking a few years ago about his falling out with Anna Wintour.
  16. If they needed to save money I would have dumped Lance.
  17. Some of those women have such noticeable fillers they can barely move their faces or speak...
  18. Thank you, @Brent for such a wonderful, rare treat. Even with the audio distortions, that does not sound like Ann Williams to me. I wonder if it was a temp.
  19. Yes, the work there really stood out from some of the poor acting from Tom and that Vincent guy (he feels like something from a parody). I also thought the actor who played Drew did a good job. I agree that the show is lacking in female characters who can be easy to relate to. Samira might be closest, if they get rid of Francesca.
  20. Very sorry to hear this. Churchett may be best known for his role as traitorous Mitchell solicitor Marcus Christie on EastEnders. He also had a role on Doctor Who (Attack of the Cybermen).
  21. I don't think they would unless Ryan Kwanten wanted to return. Even then I'm not sure.
  22. I would agree, but as I saw someone saying, it's impossible to guess that after Mel Gibson was rehabbed for even worse. It mostly depends on how much support Joss still has in the industry. The part about him feeling he had to have "affairs" (AKA young women in high pressure situations feeling they were meant to sleep with him) made my skin crawl. And it confirms so much about the cultlike vibes of Buffy which you get glimpses of from puff pieces and interviews of that era. It's one of the reasons why I have a hard time with anything from that show after the first 2 or 3 seasons. He broke those people.
  23. Eric Nelsen, who I remember @Vee and others being very impressed by on his AMC 2.0 run, recently had a notable recurring role and was a big fan favorite on 1883, the Yellowstone spinoff. I don't watch those shows, and I resent the people out there in the press who try to shame people into watching them because if they don't they hate "real America," or whatever, but I'm happy to see a soap alum, especially one who doesn't seem to be an [!@#$%^&*], getting such a positive response.
  24. What the [!@#$%^&*]?? They killed off Tess??? She wasn't the strongest character, to put it kindly, but she was likeable and the actress did a lot with a little. I know she and the actor who played Prince are married - maybe they both wanted to leave the show and she agreed to stay longer to finish out her storyline? Now who is Amelie going to be raised by? Her mother is dead. Her father was long gone. Is Chris, who is haunted by his own mistakes as a parent and spends a lot of his time chasing tail, going to raise her???? Or are they going to have Tom raising the child of a woman he's only known about six months?????
