  1. The usual suspects are pushing the border story nonstop and making sure it drowns out any positive accomplishments, with support from the likes of Joe Manchin.
  2. The fact that he names this idea "Mexico First" is the first clue of where criticism would go and how it would be framed. Biden's administration, already being attacked 24/7 for its border policies, would be pilloried for prioritizing Mexico over American citizens, whether that is accurate or not. And of course certain Democrats are happy to pile on, while adding nothing of value:
  3. Broderick did seem to empathize with Janet a great deal. It was Broderick having a lot of story ideas for Janet that helped ABC listen to the fan backlash and decide not to go ahead with the incredibly stupid, Reilly-esque idea of Janet getting plastic surgery to look like Brooke.
  4. Not much here that would surprise, but it shines another light on how unhappy those last years of ATWT were (and it really did show up onscreen).
  5. Thanks. What did you think of the story? I forgot Pearl was still on by then. I guess he vanished not long after.
  6. So so so so happy for Steven Yeun.
  7. Was this a strike story? Santa Barbara - Soap Opera Commercial - Murder Mystery Bones (1988) - YouTube
  8. Guiding Light did a similar story to the above - I hope this one was less of a trainwreck. Why was the abortion story controversial? Her age? Or just the abortion element? Thanks for the updates. I hope you are doing well.
  9. Knowing CBS, they will replace it with a Piers Morgan news program.
  10. I didn't watch any of it but I saw that Chuck Todd tried to make Stacey Abrams look bad and that people are judging her for saying the new laws are an attempt to return to Jim Crow. She's right - I am tired of faux-niceties.
  11. They are so desperate.

  14. They are also constantly trying to beat the drum about Biden not having a press conference. They clearly are absolutely desperate to make the narrative about themselves and remind us how important and how tough they are. Trump was good for them in that they could cosplay as heroes and crusaders. They don't like feeling irrelevant, which is what they truly are.

  16. Enraging.
  17. He's a failed comedian and now a rich grifter who, along with his fellow rich grifters like Krystal Ball, Brie Brie Joy and Kyle Kulinski, exists mainly to poison people against the Democratic Party and progressivism. This account tends to track most of them: https://twitter.com/themattdimitri
  18. Long had much bigger plans for Cain (the Jerry Lanning character) didn't she?
  19. I get the sense from the clip she was trying to stir up hostility against Kyle and the Lewises. (probably due to Lujack's death)
  20. @I Am A Swede
  21. Yes, similar to what you mentioned with AOC, I see that Jimmy Dore is also turning his followers on Ilhan Omar. I hope if nothing else this will bring the sane members of that brigade and their followers closer to the base of the party, if that is possible. No, the bill wasn't perfect, yes, a $15 minimum wage is what many need and deserve, but I'm glad they aren't going along with the usual dead end left instinct of just focusing on the worst.
  22. Geraldo would never win a primary and he knows it. He got the publicity he wanted. I see that the main right wing talking point is outrage over Biden "telling" people they can meet again on July 4th. The usual faux-populist outrage that the base craves. It won't work on most people but it doesn't matter, as elaborated on here: Unless Sinema and Manchin are willing to pass the voting rights bill, this is all that matters.
