  1. That, too, lol.
  2. If there's any justice left in the world, or in Port Chuck, he'll soon be performing as Albin in the all-prison production of "La Cage aux Folles."
  3. So, how old would Alma have been by 1985? 100? 110?
  4. So, it isn't an MS flare-up? Oh, Christ.
  5. I say, dump Brennan, wait a contract cycle or two, then see whether McKenna's available to return and play a new role. (Hey, it works for Easton and Howarth!).
  6. Y&R has the same problem with Noah that it has with the majority of its' cast. They just don't know what to do with anyone on this show, and anything they try just doesn't work. (Hence, all these random, pointless "psycho arcs," as I call 'em, with Matt, Patty, Jordan, Cameron, etc). I think Mal Young and Angelica McDaniel created the Rosales family specifically to infuse the show with desperately needed new blood (that better reflected their audience demographics), but they botched the rollout of that family so badly that it seems the show has become afraid of doing anything that disturbs the status quo. Y&R is absolutely on auto-pilot - has been for the better part of a decade, if not more - and needs another turnover like the one Bill Bell gave it when he phased out the remaining Brookses and Fosters for the Abbotts and Williamses, but good luck getting anyone at the #1 rated soap to do anything about it!

  8. It's a shame actors like Billy Moses don't see the full value in "goody-two-shoes" characters like Cole Gioberti. True, they're not as flashy as the Angela or Richard Channings. They sometimes have to be saps in order for the stories to work (as Moses himself learned only too well, lol). However, you absolutely need down-to-earth, dependable types like Cole who act as a sort of moral compass, both for the other characters, and for the audience.
  9. He's never done much for me either, but I don't deny the appeal he has with many women (and some men), lol.
  10. That was a great interview - thanks, @janea4old , for posting - but I'm sad they didn't mention her work in "Wife, Mother, Murderer: The Marie Hilley Story." I thought she did such an amazing job inhabiting a real-life sociopath who remained an enigma to the day she died.
  11. I was so glad when she retired that feathered hairdo, lol. It's a shame Desiderio retired from acting. He did such good work on "Cheers" and KL.
  12. You could tell almost right away how disappointed Bob Guza, Jr. was with BW, lol.
  13. Speaking of the Smiths, has GH ever established the family's ethnicity or nationality? Is "Smith" their actual name, or did Frank or one of his ancestors anglicize it? I realize the show wanted to avoid stereotyping Italians - which is why they also called it "The Organization" and not La Cosa Nostra - but the idea of a WASP who isn't Irish running an organized crime outfit is just absurd.
  14. Well, if it was anything like what he wrote for CAPITOL....!
  15. I've wondered that, too. I do think Patrick Duffy was/is very limited as an actor and that a big reason why they didn't kill off Bobby was because he looked good in a Speedo.
