Jonny, this post is hilarious. Sorry, but it is.

Here we go again with your "smart tv" and smartened scripts LOL. Where are you getting this "buzz"?  Got a link where we can check out that buzz? Or is this a real insider -- som one so close to the action that you can't name the source?

My favorite part of your post is "I have tears"  Thanks for the hilarity, Jonny.

On her best day, JP's writing doesn't equal the worst of Labine.  I'm talking Todd with a bird or Kevin and Mac in drag is still better than anything JP has written.

And while I think Frank Valentini is talented, Riche could produce circles around him.  Even at this budget.  So nothing they do will ever compare to those two.  Will it be better than RC's last year?  Probably.  Is that good enough? No.  None of these shows deserve the hacks at the top.

The character of Kiki was ill-conceived from the very beginning.  At first, since she was portrayed by the same actress who played Starr, the writers tried to make her more edgy and less sweet than the matured Starr, but then over time, the character became an unbelievably dumbed down Starr lookalike.  The problem is, since the character was presumably raised by Ava Jerome, this transformation from edgy and not sweet mob daughter into a young, modern, but idiotic June Cleaver never made sense to me (and probably not many other viewers, either.).  Right here, I probably made a deeper analysis of the character than Nathan Vami or certain writers ever did, and therein lies the problem.  I do not blame Hayley Erin for any of this, but, I'm in favor of shipping the character off.  For soap characters much more than in real life, there is no second chance to make a good impression.
