ATWT: Damien is a Big Fake

Featured Replies

Looks like Damien was doing nothing but faking to seal the deal to get Luke to Malta...

Mike takes a job offer with Simon; looks like Katie will once again be all up in other folks business.

More of the slicing and dicing of the Slasher; along with everyone being questioned.

What are your thoughts on today's show?

Today was okay. The only thing I really enjoyed was Damian/Lucy's interaction and Maddie's s/l. I don't know but the show seems to be lacking something.

Damian may be a big fake but I find him very intriguing to watch. I love the vibe between Damian/Lucy. I hope TPTB go there. It definitely would ruffle some Oakdale citizens feathers *cough cough Dusty, Lucinda, Lily*

I am not fond of the slasher story at all. I think it brings the show down.

I thought today was pretty good, I loved the moments between Luke, Holden, the new baby and the girls, The Maddie storyline, is getting alittle bit better. Damiain is getting on my nerves and I hope Lucinda and Holden come up with a good plan to catch him. Mike and Katie made me sleepy, except for the parts when Simon and Carly were with them. I also wish that Annie girl(lia's friend) would just shut the [!@#$%^&*] up, she is driving me crazy, I truely hope she is the next victim if there is another one. I also hate to say this because I hate Lucy, but Damain and Lucy seem to have pretty good chemistry.

ITA. What the show lacks most of all IMO is continuity and good editing.

Dallas, Margo and the other two JokeDale PO have been on duty since Lia got killed (yesterday in ATWT time) sooooo make that WHAT 36hours. Is the memorial taking place in the afternoon??

The scenes with Katie/Mike/Carly/Simon seem to be taking place at night.

Was the baby discharged in the morning, afternoon or in the night because Lucy still has on the same dress as when she was at Jens graveside..

It is a known fact that the soap scenes are shot out of sequence but the poor editing of this show is starting to get nerve wracking.

Haven't watched today's eppy yet; just caught some recaps. Did Holden name the baby? I never heard anyone mention a name. I had to laugh at that, because nowadays, the hospital won't let the baby leave without applying for a social security number, and you can't apply for a number without a name!!

And as much as I (used to) like Matie, I must admit that Katie is really getting on my nerves lately. It's sad that TPTB haven't given TC & MC a decent SL in ages! :(

And sorry, but I'm not feeling any Damian/Lucy lovematch. <_< I guess it's the age difference, because I wasn't a Lusty fan either.

Damien's a jerk. Poor Luke actually trusts that clown and probably will until Lily awakes.

Loved the sentimental scene of Simon and Katie in the cottage. Her tears in her eyes was telling

of how she still feels for him, and for once in weeks made me not want to slap her. I loved Simon's looking around before walking out. Those two have so much chemistry together no matter what they're doing.

First off, let me start by saying Welcome to SON LuvinDamianLucyDusty :)

First off, I don't like how the writers are writing Damien; for a character that cherished Lily and deeply loved her, he's showing a very strong disregard for all that has happened and the role he played in her lapsing into a coma. Also, for a man to keeps saying how much he "loves" his son, he's doing a very piss poor job at it.

While I like Lucy, I say a big Ewwww to the writers putting her to have a possible romance with Damien; the romance will only be to get Lucy and Dusty back together; and they could do that a number of ways than pairing her with someone else. JMHO....

Mike is full of himself. He's not giving a crap about Simon and Carly working together; all he cares about is finding out if Simon is really up to something so he can go around hooting and hollering "I told you so." Plus, he's only keeping an eye on Simon so he can make sure Simon doesn't circle around Katie's orbit. Carly isn't even on his mind; never has been, never will be...This all about one person; Katie.

When I saw the scene where Nate was getting the crap slashed out of him, I was transported into a remake of Friday the 13th; especially when they showed the knife dripping with blood.

Can't they have someone other than Margo on this case? I love Margo, but put Jack and Dallas on this one. Give Jack something to do other than skulking about Simon/Carly.

The show is definitely lacking something. It's still enjoyable (it always has been to me), but it's just not entertaining. I feel like I'm just watching the show out of habit and because I know that if I don't, I'll be really upset about missing it. I'm not really tuning in to see a particular storyline or two, like I used to.

The stuff with the Snyders is pretty interesting. I wonder what they're doing with Damian though. To me, it'd make more sense to have him be really sick because it would be more dramatic than just, "Oh, he's faking it because he's a horrible person!"

The slasher stuff, also interesting enough to keep me watching. Despite everything, I don't mind having Margo on the case because, hello...when's the last time she got a storyline?? Jack always has storylines and Dallas is too new. Personally, the fact that Margo and Henry are involved so heavily in this storyline is why I like it so much.

The rest, though, is tres boring.

I see where you are coming from Ms. Walsh regarding Margo...I'm really glad Margo and Henry have more interaction...and things most likely will get interesting when Louis comes to the surface.

Margo "working" this case is a clear conflict of interest because she can't be Casey's mother and the lead investigator at the same time. Casey is not listening to her and is starting to become an ass. It seems that Dallas and the other cops are now having to tip toe, tap dance, and babysit Casey and that shouldn't be the case. The fact that Maddie used to live with Margo hasn't even entered the picture yet.

I like the interaction between Margo and Henry. Henry dearly loves Maddie but I think he's allowing his feelings for her to cloud his judgement. Maddie needs help- Henry/Eve know this- so why are they allowing her to dictate what happens next. He seem to know what to do for Emily so why not Maddie.

Damian may be a creep but I still like him. If he wasn't around...the Snyder family dynamic would be soo boring right now.

The slasher story is alright but I could care less about who's been killed nor do I care about any of the suspects..so I'm in no way invested in this story. The only good thing to come out of it is that Zach Roerig has improved dramtically as an actor. I'm also not a big fan of Jennifer Landon but I think she did a great job when Gwen found Nate's dead body.

Mike is an overegotistical tattletale moron! I cannot stand this character! And Katie has really digressed. I did like that one scene where Simon noticed that she kept those pictures up and she replied that she always liked them. I thought that was sweet. But other than that, I'm no longer rooting for a Simon/Katie reunion.

Thank you SO much for welcoming me. That was very sweet!I look forward to posting with you all.

Today's show:

Interesting how Jade and Will were both "gone" during the murder.

Maddie with blood on her hands....Hmmmm......

Jennifer Landon should be in a frickin' horror movie! That scream was sooo seriously horror movie material.

Hate how they're writing Luke as some annoying little brat and making Damian the bad guy...yet again!

I'm really enjoying the slasher storyline/Maddie's rape so far; although it's a little uneven, it's moving along at a good clip and I'm still hopeful they won't drop important bits of it that still need to be told (like WTH is Dallas' deal, is Jade going to get some kind comeuppance for sticking her nose in every piece of this story, will Henry insist Maddie go into therapy, will Maddie tell Casey FINALLY, what is Eve's real deal and what's her husband doing coming here, etc).

I was SO GLAD Meg finally started talking sense to Paul and pointing out the similarities of what he's doing to Emily and what he did to Jennifer; this story had gotten extremely stale after getting off to such a great start. It's still pretty boring, though, I think because I just don't like this Paul very much. I do feel for both Emily and Meg, for very different reasons. And I loved Barbara getting tossed into the mix last week; her talk with Meg was touching and fresh.

Damian's manipulations, I'm on the fence about. Half the time I FF, the other half I watch intently. There's something about his scenes with Luke that bug me, but I don't know what it is. But I am loving Lucinda in this one, and can't wait for her to go after Damian full throttle. And I'm enjoying Holden again, which is rare for me. I really like the way he and Luke are together; there's something so genuine about it, as if there really is a lot of history between them.

And...there really aren't any other stories (oh wait, Katie/Mike/Simon, zzzzzz, but I do like Carly and Simon's interactions in a non-romantic sense) going on right now. That may be what's missing -- there needs to be more stuff buzzing around!
