That's one of the good things about the new opening, they seem to update it pretty quickly.

Monday's episode was pure crap. You'd never know that Darla was just killed. Stephanie, Brooke & Ridge got right back into there own selfish ways. Ugh this show is so annoying.

I agree!! Then why put him back in the opening? I wish they would find a story for him.

And of course Darla´s death would be downplayed. Brad Bell wanted to get rid of her fast so he could move on. He doesn´t care for Darla, that is why she´s been backburner for years. Just goes to prove he wanted to get rid of the "dead-weight" and save money.

Now perhaps they can give Jackie some purpose. I've thought for a long time they should bring in Eric's once mentioned brother, John to fill in the wealthy villain role. He could have a vendetta against Eric and mix it up with Stephanie, Jackie etc.

But to Monday's episode. Nick and Jackie's scenes were FF-worthy as per usual. And his scenes with Stephanie weren't much better. He admired Darla for standing up to the Forresters? Did I miss something? She was practically mute at every family gathering I saw. Marginally less saccharine as a wife than Caroline.

(Disclaimer: I loved Darla but that was bullshit)

Stephanie and Brooke was disappointing too. The dialogue was boring and KKL didn't really seem that into it. Her eyes were darting about as though she'd rather be picking up the kids or something. Shame after the promising lead in from Friday.

I'd like him in the role or some silver-haired senior with talent from primetime... Actually, the temp Keith Dennison on Y&R (who also played next to Tom Hanks in Cast Away) once appealed to me as a great bro for Eric.

I actually read in SOD YEARS ago that a rumor was circulating about John O'Hurley playing his brother. And he said he wanted to do so, but ONLY as Eric's EVIL brother.

Not sure how well O'Hurley could do evil, but he and John McCook look a lot alike.
