Here is a clip of her last appearance at the Oscars before her death.

A little story I found amusing...

Ron Howard was on Jay Leno duscussing Bette Davis

In a phone call...

Bette: I will be there first thing in the morning Mr. Howard

Ron: Please call me Ron.

Bette: I will call you Mr. Howard until I decide if I like you ot not. 'Click'

He said he was very nervous and scared of her and was on pins and needles all day. Well after filming wrapped for the day and she was leaving, she looked over at him, winked and said "See ya in the mornin' Ronnie"

OMG! I can't even believe that's her! Amazingly, she looks nothing like she did in her films. I can only faintly tell it's actually her from her speech mannerisms!

That said, how DISASTROUS was it that James Woods' name was spelled "James Wood" on the FREAKING ACADEMY AWARDS?!!! Aaaaahhh!! How horrible!!! I hope someone got CHEWED OUT after that telecast.

I can't believe I'm the only one who commented on the GLACIAL James Woods error. On the ACADEMY AWARDS, which, well, everybody watches, especially back then, when there was little competition from cable! It's unforgivable. Especially for such a well-known actor. Hell, even if you didn't know his last name, common sense dictates that the last name is probably Woods. It should have been a red flag, at the very least.
