Members dawn9476
That has to be brutal to Days because it was just 5 months ago, JER had Days hovering around 3.0 and had Passions hovering around 2.0. Had he built on that, Days might be right there with B&B while Passions would be right there with GL.
Members Jackfan143
2.3 how well deserved it is for Days to start off May sweep with another low. Clearly people don’t want to see Jennifer acting like a trashy tramp when her husband hasn’t been dead that long because F&J numbers have really sucked and bravo to those who like J&Jers stayed away so they didn’t have to see disgusting sex between Bo and Billie and Hope and Patty. It seems disgusting sex with these 3 non-boring couples is a real turning off viewers. Jennifer getting caught by her daughter acting trashy and adding Bope to the list of cheaters did nothing for Days bad ratings and no one will tune in for these crappy couples. So DOOL is not advertising the reunion of J&M and Jack is back to try and get viewers back! It won’t change the crappy writing and destruction of couples and characters which is what the viewers care about. We want Jennifer to act like Jennifer not like some tramp and we want our couples and the love they shared to be honored not spit on. We want them to fight not give up and just have sex with others. Days got what it deserved. The viewers won’t get what they deserve until Reilly is gone. The ratings speak for themselves. Low 2.2 on the disgusting sex days no surprise to me. The viewers have spoken Frankie and Jennifer suck and Bo and Billie and Hope and Patrick do too. and Jack and Jennifer because F&J SUCK and the ratings prove that. and so well deserved. Members RogerNewcomb
I always hear about Passions teen ratings being so how but how many viewers and a 0.3 really be? And it's only .2 from last place (or first place). Is this really enough to keep the show on the air? Would have been nice to see all the soaps go up for the start of sweeps. Members PhoenixRising05
I will just say 3 things and then get out of this thread before we have another Days war- 1.) This drop was expected and the show will rebound in the coming weeks as summer approaches and J&M are reunited and Jack returns. The big returns in June will help to. 2.) Days is still doing well in demos. 3.) Looks like ABC didn't make as big a splash with their sweeps stunts. Some of them only got +1 which seems to be not worth the trouble. Days is at 2.3 but its a short little gain away from jumping into 4-6 range and moving closer to 3. All these ratings suck so Days should not be singled out even though people say they deserve it. Once Days rebounds I gurantee you this summer with all the payoffs starting this month the show will surge near 3.0 at least. Now I am done here you all-carry one . Members Chanel
Days is boring, right now. I haven't watch for weeks. But I wouldn't wish these low ratings on them. But hopefully, TPTB will wake up! And the only reason Days is probably talked about the most in ratings thread is because the show and Passions is on the brink of cancellation. In the new TVguide, it says that there was chatter that NBC wants out of the soap game.
Members xDaysAddict
and again,Days got what is deserve.off course the ratings will soon go up as always with JERk's lame ass gimmicks, but then,AS ALWAYS,the viewers will get sick and leave. last year when they had the WRONG COUPLES together the ratings reached an all time low.the new plan to save days? more wrong couples. *insert 'fanbases are crazy and should be thankfull for the amazing stories and payoff comments* the show is just crappy right now. glad to see they got the ratings they deserved. Members KevC1980
I agree Days got the ratings it deserved for last week...What a boring week of nonsense...They should be calling it May Sleeps not May sweeps....Days just might drop again this week, but will probably stay steady...Then the john/marlena reunion should give them a nice boost.. but damm JER, you really got those ratings low...Shows you can't break up every couple and pair them with the wrong people..need some happiness on the show..
