I said in the monthly thread that I will do it. Well here I am. I have decided to sort characters according to how the scriptwriters should actually write everybody them. It would be more character development and more actual conflict.

Lawful Good: Vernon. Anita. Jacob. Naomi. Donnell. Nicole. Tyrell. Derek (R.I.P.). Mona. Madison. Peaches.

Neutral Good: Darlene. Kat. Jan. Monica. Laura. Smitty. Kial. Pamela. Tracy. Regina (June’s sister. Remember?)

Chaotic Good: Deanna. Ashley. Grayson. Shanice. June.

Lawful Neutral: Martin. Elon. Ted. Andre. Luke (when he finally shows up). Shonda (Martina’s even coordinator).

True Neutral: Vanessa. Samantha. Eva. Lia. Tomas. Randy. Carlton. Caroline. Jessica. Chessie.

Chaotic Neutral: Dani. Chelsea. Iziah. Sharon. Bill.

Lawful Evil: Joey. Anastasia.

The crossover will get the credit, but it's the strongest writing they've had.
Re: Kat and Eva---it was only a few months ago that it seemed like every post was critical of Eva for not standing up against Leslie more. Giving Kat a moral quandary is good writing. Now, if she could only get a better love interest.

I think KS has a charm and a very likeable factor when she's in a good place. There is also a lot of 35-40 year old actresses in the world that could bring the same energy without the Kirsten headaches and leaves.

Y&R: June 2026 Discussion Thread

I'm ditching Y&R for daily recaps. The only current highlights for me.
The chemistry between CK/BF is amazing. I loathed Lane back in the day, but this works.
Anything Audra, particularly with Noah.
Lauren/Phyllis, but those scenes feel like monthly one-offs
Lily reading Nikki, Victoria and Billy re: Chancellor - again one-offs.
The absolute fails.
Victor playing Professor Higgins with Matt.
Nikki's illness
Sally's pregnancy - worse Chadam talking about it
Patty mess. Worse anyone believing Diane wouldn't have slit that shrink's throat with the letter opener. Please.
Devon's mean streak. Worse than ever and it makes no sense.
Mariah being off-screen / Abruptly ending Daniel/Tessa, who should've gotten pregnant after NYE link. This would've given Tessiah a lot of material to mine if they ever decide to bring CG back.
Noah/Sienna - at least Shick are allowed to give the side-eye.
That's simply not enough to waste 36 minutes.

Yup. Totally fine to give her a small exit to revisit later if need be.
I don't even think KS is remarkable as Maxie. When she's on and well she's great, but when she's not she's bad. I like KS and really liked her as Belle. It's not an irreplaceable part though. There are plenty of actresses in the world that could play Maxie and have a full time focus on the role.
