I did let out a big laugh when Bill called Dani "Baby" and went right back to grubbing, like it was nothing.🤣

Please, no Alzheimer's or dementia storylines, especially not now, with this heavy health storyline finally coming to a dénouement (Haley will hate that I used a French word 🙃) and not so early in this series' history.

Can Kat & Eva be reaching détente? (oops, another French word) It would be ironic if just at the moment both women begin to accept each other as relations, something happens where Eva and Ted find out that she's not his biological daughter (and that Carlton is). I have a feeling that Ted & Nicole will likely find themselves in each other's orbit a lot more. As Samantha's grandparents, they might be attending Samantha's cotillion, as grandparents sometimes do.

Am I missing something? Where are you getting signs of dementia?

-- More than once, Eva told Leslie that Leslie and Darlene are alike. Um....no, they aren't, Eva.

-- While I have no problem with Kat softening her attitude towards Eva, isn't an invitation to her birthday celebration a bit much? I can see her thanking Eva for her kind words about Anita, but I just don't buy a 180 that includes "Celebrate my birthday with me."

-- I also have no problem with Ted returning to Nicole's orbit, but this is all clunky as hell. He was ON FIRE with Shanice, and that disappeared with ONE conversation with her -- plus Ted crapping on Shanice to Carlton and to Andre. This "I want to slow things down" came out of nowhere, and I hate the writing for and towards Shanice.

-- I feel like we're getting a lot of hard left turns in the writing, and I just don't get it.

I really hope we're not heading for a dementia or Alzheimer's storyline either. It was bad enough when I had to suffer through it with my own grandfather years ago; I don't need to see it on my T.V.

I honestly won't be surprised if there's a twist coming this summer and it turns out that Eva isn't really Ted's kid after all, (I'll be very surprised if it turns out to be Carlton, but if it does, then maybe it'll give him more of a reason to stick around long term especially if he doesn't ultimately end up with Nicole). Also if Eva and Kat really aren't sisters, then there is really not much reason for them to interact or have to deal with each other since they won't be related after all. And of course this show is going to just slap Ted and Nicole back together without any actual effort and Nicole is just going to forgive Ted like the last year or so has never happened. Spare me!

Silk Press Sheila and Hayley would have been a formidable duo. The two of them together would raise hell.

LOL at Silk Press Sheila calling Andre Dani's boy toy snack.

No idea. It was a response to LC's comment that people are hating - no one on here from my POV. I think this board has very fair and open discussion and members express their likes and dislikes in a way that isn't rude or insulting. IMO of course.

If people are hating, let them hate. I am enjoying BTG very much.

Who's hating? That tone seemed unecessary, ppl pointing out what they don't like about this show shouldn't be any different than the criticism for the other shows.

The show isn't hitting the notes for me but I still watch from time to time. We need this show to be successful-- the whole genre is depending on it. The show should be always looking for ways it can improve

I didn't notice any of that, but I definitely agree, I hope they never go down that road. That's too depressing for any soap.

I really hope that doesn't happen. The yuck factor would be bigger than what it is now between Ted and Carlton.

Lol...why am I being asked this again. I don't know who is hating. I only post here. I used to see a comment or another on Twitter, but this is strictly where I get my BTG info and commentary.

My response with the Teresa gif was a reaction to another poster saying that people are hating, but too bad because BTG got picked up for 2 seasons. I was celebrating that.

We need to stop the arguments. Didn't Errol address this in the post about language? I'm glad we're not losing our show. I don't want to lose this site.

Im all for Eva not being Ted's kid but making her Carlton's would literally come out of nowhere as there has been no indication that Leslie even knew him prior to moving back to town. That would be a bit too much to have Carlton lusting after Ted's wife all these years and then find out he was screwing his mistress at the same time too.

I am happy that the Anita cancer story is leading to a resolution. As nicely done as it was, it was such a heavy topic that I am glad it won't extend for too long. TT did an amazing job, but that's unsurprising.

The thing with soaps is, no matter how bad an actor, you do in some ways get attached. Reading the comments about AA being dropped to recurring did make me feel a bit, albeit very tiny bit, sad. I will get over it the moment he is gone though. I still feel if BTG wanted to stoop low a la Reva's clone they could have made a big reveal that AA was actually an AI robot. He wouldn't have to change is acting a bit.

Lynette/Hayley/Randy is heating up and I am here for it.

I am so glad you said that. I kind of feel bad too, but the reality is, he's not cutting it, IMO.

I think they should simply write the character out or find a strong actor that can reel the audience in.

I said before I believed AA was really an automaton.

LOL, not Dolly!
