Great to see Lani again, but the rest of the show was boring.

I was cracking up at that shot of poor little Charlotte standing there in the Town Square looking like she had no idea where she was. The kid is cute, but she's not exactly Cary Christopher's Thomas...

Welcome back Chad, Thomas and Charlotte! And welcome to Days, Conner Floyd!

I admit I was a little concerned when we first heard that Chad was being recast after 12 years of Billy Flynn, who was loved by literally the entire Days fanbase. And based on the storyline at the time, it just seemed more sensible to have it be revealed that Abigail was alive, and give her, Chad and the kids a happily ever after. I mean, Ron's gone lol that could've happened.

But now, I'm interested in seeing what happens for Chad. Based on all the interviews that Connor Floyd's given over the last few months, you could tell he did a lot of research about the character, and seemed really excited and enthusiastic about stepping into the role. To the point that I'm already hoping that it works out for him. He's got a really tough act to follow, but he seems prepared for it. I'm interested in seeing what he can bring to Days. I'm not familiar with Conner's work but Y&R fans on here have said he was being wasted just as much as Rory Gibson was, and look how well it's working out for him over on GH. Yeah, Chad Duell was no Billy Flynn lol but it would be nice to see if Conner gets accepted so quickly by the fanbase too.

Based on his scenes today, I thought he did a good job so far. He seemed to play it in a similar way that Billy would have. And also, seemed dressed like him. I liked him going head to head with EJ too. Chad, suspecting that EJ might have had Abigail in the pod was a good idea. His suspicions could lead to something interesting for the two of them and everyone around them. Maybe we'll get a Chad/EJ feud lol but I do think that we should've seen Chad and Julie's reunion. They have such a nice relationship and I hope it continues on with Conner. I blame the writers for us not seeing their reunion.

Unfortunately, the rest of the episode was a bit of a mixed bag though. And I was definitely not here for Leo being such a creepy stalker. It just didn't work, and it wouldn't work even if I liked the character. Him getting drunk with Gwen and Cat didn't work either. They really should've had Javi's new bf be Mark. Or have him and Dimitri fall for each other over time.

Btw, Dimitri left Salem? Is Peter Porte really gone? If he was, then a lot of people BTS at Days need to be fired.

As for Gabi/Theo/Philip, I stand by what I said about them yesterday. Plus, it feels like Theo knowing Gabi's secret has been backburnered in favor of this Lexie thing, and it shouldn't have been. That was one of the most interesting dynamics of this storyline and I really want to see it play out.

I thought EJ and New Chad had lots of chemistry. Too bad they're related.😂

The rest of the show stunk.

Leo is beyond pathetic. Having to listen to his problems was fast forward material. When are they killing off this useless character? Who is GR sleeping with to be continually written for and featured like a main character for a legendary soap?

That's good to hear. Like Rory Gibson, he was wasted on Y&R so I want him to have the same revelation in being Chad that Rory had becoming Michael. And him interacting with EJ, the Tall vs the Tall lol. Good.

I'm looking forward more to his interactions with other characters though. There's been too much Dimera lately. Maybe they'll remember Chad's flirtation with Belle 😂

I had to go and watch a clip. And yeah, I see CF has been studying BF, but still has his charm I'm used to see as Chance on Y&R. I am already rooting for him and Cat.
