That was so sweet. Thank you for sharing. She always seems like such a warm person onscreen and clearly is offcamera too.

I had to laugh at the end of that being "eat some weed gummies."

Happy 40th Lynn! I remembered back when she started on GH, followed her to DAYS then back on GH and then off the spinoff on PC. My favorite story of all time was her pairing with Dr. Alan Q.

Let me ask everyone about the Lucy Coe, who is her greatest love? Has that ever happened? Would love for her to find love again, I didn’t mind when she was hooking up Martin which they had great, comedic chemistry but too bad the writers didn’t flush the story out more.

I'd say Kevin was her greatest love. She seemed to connect with him in ways she never could with other men (Tony, Alan, Scott, etc).

Same.

Maybe they can celebrate Lynn's 40th anniversary on the show by stop treating her character as a joke and giving her a story, maybe a daughter or young niece to interact with?

I think her definitive pairing was with Scott. She was with Kevin because Scott had left the show in late 1993. The show always saw her as comic relief, and I think Scott fit better into that than Kevin.

Scott and Lucy of the early 90s was kind of a substitute for Scott and Heather of the early 80s though; both were scheming, humorous pairings.

Kevin remains Lucy's true love. I don't think Scott and Lucy have had it since he left in '93. The stuff since the 21st century has been particularly weak.

I wish they'd at least stop making Lucy moonlight as the town realtor. She is now the CEO of a global conglomerate again. She should not be out selling houses on the side! Erica Kane's not doing that, it makes zero sense.

I always found the Lucy/Felicia scenes of the mid 90s to be interesting. Felicia was Lucy's first female friend, and Lynn always played those scenes with a subtle lesbian subtext that Felicia would usually resist but sometimes play into. That might be something interesting to explore on the show today, a Felicia/Lucy relationship, give the vets something new to do. Undoubtedly though, the producers wouldn't be interested, or they'd play it as a joke, without much sensitivity, and play it once every 6 months or so.

I

I agree, and she is also his. With Scott, there have been moments. But honestly to me Scott never loved anyone like he did for Laura, and that’s why his relationships until Dominique always blew up. And I think that one would have too if she had lived.

That was a lovely tribute. I remember an interview around the 50th that Jane participated in, possibly the one with Tony and Kin. And when talking about all those returns and folks like Lynn she said something along the lines of never understanding why those people were ever gone to begin with.

I actually enjoy all aspects of Lucy, always have. Daffy, screwball comedy Lucy and scheming social climber too. As far as the vets go I think Lucy is closer to the core of who she always was than Anna has been in a few years.

I never saw any hints of that personally. Felicia was a reluctant friend at first, and I can’t say I felt like Lynn was playing Lucy as flirting with her. What I saw was a determination to win Felicia over during that Mac/Felicia/Kevin/Lucy era. It read to me as neediness and at times just a belief she would power through like she always did during Labine and wear her down. Much like she did with Sonny. Luke always liked a quick witted person who was a hustler, so his fondness for Lucy so quickly fit his personality to me. Even if he was loyal to Bobbie.

I agree with that. I just wish the realtor crap, being the buffoon at Deception and falling for any evil schmuck who comes to town would end.
