Yeah, she pretty blantantly said she didn't like him and that they didn't like working together.

The reason it surprises me is that she mostly seemed to not get along with people she thought were not professional, and I had never heard that accusation against Zaslow. In fact, I was always under the impression he was well liked. But I guess not everyone can like everyone.

Take it from me: not everyone can get along with an Okie.

One I recently heard about directly from Signy Coleman in an interview she did over the last couple years... Kim Zimmer did not treat her well and they just didn't get along, as much as Signy says she wishes they could. So GL's Annie vs. Reva on-screen and Kim vs. Signy off-screen haha.

There was one rumor where Peter Bergman basically told Braedon to learn his lines, which didn't set well with Braedon and led to a huge fight between the two. It highlighted the New York soap vs LA soap mindset..imho.

Watching the Locher Room interviews, Zimmer seemed like a mean girl. She was probably jealous of Forbes and Watros.. both seem pretty confident and sure of themselves.. which must have driven Zimmer crazy (In a soap opera book, she remarked how she couldn't get time off the Doctors to film Body Heat as the lead so she only could get enough time off for a smaller part). So I'm sure felt jealous/resentful at both of them.. who did end up having pretty consistent careers in and out of daytime.

From what I heard about Zaslow was that he could cut up and be a goofball, advocated for actors, and I bet he also maybe put different approaches to the words he spoke. Perhaps Beverlee was someone that was more old school and traditional.

Or maybe they just didn't click.

i don't know if it was personal or just a clash of working styles but Mary Stuart and new onscreen love interest Chris Delon played by Paul Dumont didn't hit it off. Chris was written off after a few months.

SOD reported that auditions were held to replace EB?? It's very hard to imagine that EB would be replaced over PB.

After the holiday break, EB and PB both reported for work on 1/6/92. They had "kissed and made up". They had to post-film scenes for many eps that both of them originally missed due to the aftermath of the skirmish.

Didn't Bill Bell have to sit them down as well?

Susan Seaforth Hayes and Frances Reid. Susan admits that in her primetime on Days she could be prickly and protective of her space on the show.

Who is she kidding, she was never going to get the lead in Body Heat.

The interesting part about that movie is Kathleen Turner also played Nola Dancy on The Doctors.

Back to Zimmer...I think she liked being the big fish in a small pond, that's why in the end she returned to soap acting. Forbes and Watros were always going to do well. It was pretty apparent early on they would move on from soaps. (Honestly, I was surprised when Watros returned to soaps).

Like Forbes and Watros, it was obvious Kathleen Turner was destined for a career outside of soaps.

BTW, I'm not putting down soap opera actors. Many are excellect and underrated. But I really do think Zimmer wanted to be a star and soaps were her best fit.

I think that was Wendy Moniz and Frank Grillo having sex in a dressing room. If I recall correctly, Hunt Block alluded to it in an interview when he was on GL.

Wasn't there some infamous rumor about a dressing room spat/love triangle with Tom Pelphrey, Gina Tognoni and someone else at GL? I don't remember the third person.

... and shortly after Watros left GL in '98, Zimmer was out in L.A. and the two visited and laughed it up. Whatever tension there may have once been, it was short-lived.
