Hoo boy.

I don't have an aversion to seeing a bit more of Ethan (or ND), but it feels a bit like a slap in the face after how they treated JJ and Lucky.

What a strange pull. I wonder what the story is.

I don't care what the story is, so long as it involves a bath and a shave.

This character irrationally annoyed the hell out of me, and the griminess was a big reason why.

I guess more international capers on a budget. I wonder if he may also be there to help Holly say goodbye to Robert and then she leaves with him.

For Kristina right?

This would be a good way to write her out. There would be some very bittersweet feelings for the fans who most wanted this as they aren't going to care with Lexi not in the part.

It's also a middle finger to fans who want her to be ave a girlfriend

IIRC Dean is either his birth name or middle name. And Vanessa Marcil was responsible for Tyler Christopher's name change (they were dating and she did not want to be "Vanessa Baker").

I do think ND and Mansi may well have chemistry. But I just don't get any sense that FV is invested in her anymore; I think he gave up on Mansi when JJ walked and it shows in her airtime and lack of much of any story in most of the last year. I would be curious to see if he can rouse a spark in Amanda Setton. But again, while I have time for Ethan in doses or the right story and am not against this return, I'd much rather see Lucky. I wish it wasn't an either/or.

I kind of came to enjoy him the last few times he was back. He's certainly better than a lot of the options out there. I just really fail to see what the purpose of this is, unless it involves Holly and their plans for Robert's goodbye. I'm guessing it's some sort of caper.

I'm curious to see how he does with Alexa's Lulu as siblings. I think they could work well together.

With the way the actor looks, they could have cast him as a recast Lucky

Ethan was always basically Temu Lucky, in the years when the show and Geary wanted someone more like their idea of Jonathan Jackson's version of the character. (Whether they succeeded is a matter of opinion at best)

Once JJ did come back Ethan was extraneous. But I did like Parsons despite my recurring irritation with the character, and he did have chemistry and options with a number of people. Even if he shouldn't be Luke's son but Robert's.
