-- Brook Lynn's reaction to Delilah was so overdone and out of control.

I just know naming her Delilah is somehow another OLTL riff for Frank and I'm waiting for him to make it explicit somehow. Woof.

Speaking of: @titan1978 I'm with you on Florencia Lozano at this point and bringing on Téa though most of the audience would stone us. Anything is better than Sidwell's Wife, and Téa has zero compunction about being with criminals so it would not be remotely the same story. But I think Maurice is far too lethargic to keep up with FL now, for all the IRL reasons everyone has mentioned. I think only people he knows and trusts who also have real fire like Vanessa or Lynn Herring (who surprisingly perked him up a couple weeks ago) can get him going. If this was the '70s or something and we were dealing with AW and Somerset or whatever though, inspired choice!

God I would love to have FL come on as Tea and it would honestly make me actually tolerate Sonny, though I like imagining she’s still with Victor Jr.

We all know that loon is in the maximum security straitjacket ward in St. Anne's!

(If OLTL were around I'd still have Victor do the occasional short arc and break out from time to time as a multiple personality wacko because in the end that's truly what he was, but that would likely be it for the rapist twins in this day and age.)

He skipped town trying to save Tea and their loved ones from the Triskelion tattoo people and their conspiracy (another tattoo!). Later Ron Raines' evil ringleader revealed his sister (Alison Perkins) had recaptured him and suggested Todd was also walking into the same trap.

A lot of people never saw OLTL 2.0 so my headcanon has always been to simply explain away that story in a couple lines of dialogue: Todd died (or 'died' if you ever bring the character out of mothballs someday) saving the family from some bad guys (the tattoo cartel), and Victor is now locked up in the bughouse because his years of mental illness, brainwashing and multiple identities have simply left him unfit for the real world.

Totally forgot he got recaptured. I really loved PP OLTL. Genuinely felt like a modernization of soaps.

I actually giggled out loud when Lucas was waving those paddles around. Van isn't very believable as a Dr. BH also had trouble moving that big old paddle machine around. It took her several seconds to push it out of the corner lol. KT is actually semi-believable as a Dr.

@Vee and @titan1978 I think we all know I am not fond of OLTL actors on GH, but Tea is someone I wouldn't mind. I think she would be a good match for Sonny. I do have the same concerns about Mo being able to match FL's energy, but at least one person would be trying, which is better than 2 people being lethargic. I am sure FL is more expensive than Sidwell's wife who may just be working to get insurance, but I would assume she's cheaper than Vanessa. Although if the show is going to stunt cast they should just dump 4 or 5 characters and suck it up for Marcil. I am sure Frank would vastly prefer FL's Tea though.

Brenda is always the optimum choice, but if I can't have her for now I'd gladly take Tea.

Meanwhile, another couple weeks have passed in which Sonny and Jason once again are reduced to recapping other people's storylines, this time literally sitting around commenting on Lucas Jones' active role in the Sidwell story vs. their lack of any. Again, far from the GH of 20 years ago. For both good and bad.

Didn’t he just give Selena Wu a million dollars to botch killing Drew? Which was just a twist I guess like all the rest on the fast paced and often messy GH.

During the first Anna is kidnapped story when Duke was pissed that Robert was keeping him out of the investigation he went to the Jerome family for help. Which lead to years of story for Duke/Anna. Where is Selena Wu turning the screws on Curtis?

Yeah, it's insane that whole Selena thing got dropped. Didn't she spend a while trying to keep Curtis mired in the underworld too? Like two years ago?

I still find the actress playing Selena profoundly one-note and came up with a solution awhile ago that would be right up Frank and this team's typical Nostalgia Alley (and I'm surprised it wasn't done a decade ago), but that's more DM fanfic fodder I needn't foist on the thread.
