How is it that Sophia’s meds was the same exact size, shape, and color as Holly's? 🤣

But I am interested in seeing how the meds affect Holly and what happens from the switch. There’s great potential and a lot of things could happen.. I mean if they write it well that is.

Though I thought it was nice that today was very vet-heavy and that everyone came together to finally put Stefano to rest, for good, I feel like there were also some mistakes made. And Dimitri definitely should've been a part of the memorial. Like, where the hell did he go? Regardless of Peter Porte, it would've been nice to get his perspective on Stefano, the grandfather that he never knew. The one thing his character needs more than anything is to be taken away from Gwen and Leo, and put into somebody else's orbit, and today could've been the chance for that to happen, or at least be set up to happen. And for the writers to not take that chance is pretty stupid.

And, I still say that they're missing the mark with Johnny and Chanel. Johnny should never have been the one to suggest the memorial, regardless of how close he and Stefano were. He should have disowned the entire family, and been completely on Marlena's/the Brady's side. It would just make sense, considering everything that he found out last year. I also feel like it would be very karmic for the Dimera's, as a whole. And Chanel should be the one trying to mend fences between them, which in turn, could cause good conflict for her and Johnny. It feels like such a missed opportunity. But I did think that Carson did a good job today, especially when he gave that monologue at Stefano's urn.

The flashback to Stevano was a little unnecessary though lol

I also thought Theo was a little douchy to Abe at the beginning, but at the same time, I think it makes sense based on the storyline. Having the two of them continue to be at odds could lead to something interesting happening, especially if Liam gets involved in it somehow. I'm looking forward to when Theo finds out about his part in the kidnapping.

And while I'm not a fan of Kate becoming jealous of Roman and Marlena, I thought she was used pretty effectively today. Including her in the memorial was the right choice. I especially liked the little scene between her and Chad, and that Days remembered their relationship. I'm also glad that Roman, and then Marlena got to have their closure moments with Stefano as well. And with the way that today ended, I'm curious to see if that's going to end up meaning something.

Dimitri needs a much, much better storyline than this.

Never thought I'd say this, but I liked the little Roman moment when he got to say, "Checkmate, you old bastard" to Stefano's urn with the portrait looming over his shoulder. And that ending with the candles going out and Marlena turning, startled, to look at Stefano's portrait was nice. I know it isn't leading anywhere especially compelling, but good Friday ending!

I can't remember if Roman had any moments like that when they had that celebration of Stefano's death at the Pub, back in 2016.

Is the show really teasing Roman/Marlena? Or are they trying to make Kate look like a jealous wife? I am really not here for that lol even though I do find Marlena/Roman sweet together lately. I like their friendship, but no romance please.

It would be insane to go there again now, let alone so soon after John. I don't think Marlena ever needs another romance tbqh. You don't top John Black.

Yeah, it seems silly to even attempt a romance. Kate/Roman work fine. Marlena is easily involved in lots of stories that don't require finding a new love.

Stefano did die years ago lol. He had incurable cancer when Hope shot him a decade ago, faked his death, Rolf tried to find a cure, but I guess he died before the cure was finished.

Anyhow, Rolf buried Stefano in the crypt, but didn't tell anyone. No, I don't know why. When all the Dimeras were kidnapped recently they found remains. They were Stefano's, so now we know he's dead DEAD.

I will take more Kate any way I can get her.

That sounds really interesting. re: Marlena and the candles. Thank you for the tip. I think I will be diving in this weekend so looking forward to seeing it.

Thank you for this. I had seen the promo and I admit that I was not sure what was going on since Stefano has been getting the Sally Spectra approach (character is alive while actor/actress passes in real life) for the last few years.

I'm glad they didn't take that approach.

I didn't even know that Stefano was alive yet again...I vaguely remember hints from when I last regularly viewed, but I can't remember if it was ever confirmed off the top of my head...until this week's promo. So it seems they did take that approach of him alive and off-screen.

I do like with that mind, they are giving some form of closure to him to move on to the next generation. I know there are plenty of them on canvas.

They've pretty much been vague about it until now. I can see how some fans might think that this was all unnecessary, but I didn't mind it. Like I said before, mostly because Hope's been completely cleared.

From what I've read, it sounds like some people didn't like it because they figured Stefano was already dead
