That would have been interesting. Mama Karen would go "Karen" on Ginger's @$$. Imagine that happening at the same time she was dealing with Diana & Chip. There would be no scenery left after Michelle Lee finished 'Acting"

And to mess with Karen, Abby would become the biggest Eric/Ginger shipper.

Yes. Knots never resorted to cat fights like Dynasty but this would be one time I could see Karen physically attacking Abby and having to be pulled off her.

I would have written a newlywed Black couple so you immediately have a timely angle to explore in the neighborhood, Black folks making real middle class money moving to the suburbs that were created for white flight. Same careers, same house, etc. I think it would have been interesting to see someone like Sid having to overcome unconscious bias thinking he and Karen were such accepting liberals, while neighborhood scumbag Richard was welcoming right from the start.

When I was younger, before I'd ever seen an episode of KL and based on his being in the music industry, I actually thought Kenny & Ginger were black.

I honestly found Ginger as painfully out of place and annoying as Kenny by Season 4. Lankford was not built to compete with the rest of the female cast.

Season 3 is probably my favorite Ginger season, and she spent half of that trying to be on her own, dating Karen's brother, etc. so I think she showed potential when she wasn't shackled to Kenny. Season 4 just had her in more of the heavy role to move Ciji's story along.

I too was intrigued by Ginger and Joe Cooper, but season 3 was also the season when I saw it the first time was that anytime Kenny or Ginger popped up I was “like they’re still on the show…?”

Oh God, I recall Logan.

Played famously by the actress who was the “Bom-chicka-wow-wow” girl! (2006 version of Liberty Biberty), cast by the same casting director who wanted Galen Gering as recast Nick when Morrow walked. (The whole reason for the plane crash sabotage [!@#$%^&*] Latham never resolved and Nick being presumed dead)

What? That's insane.

Just as surprised. That's some tea there.
