-- At this rate, Naomi will tell everyone in town she has the cancer gene before informing her family.

-- Leslie is batsh!t crazy.

-- Derek isn't much better.

-- Dani talks about how much she respects Andre, but she disproves that every time she gets near Bill. Her talks with him are disgusting.

-- At Anita's and Vernon's age, shouldn't their estate planning already be in place?

-- I'll take more Mona, but sex-starved Owen loving Jan can leave any time.

Jacob going undercover doesn't bother me. You have soap cops who have done that bit many times over the decades despite multiple public splashouts. Unless they're Luke Spencer, former Mayor of Port Charles who saved the world, it's not that serious IMO. I find Hayley and Randy constantly meeting in public places to discuss their murder plans far more silly.

True. But I admit that I like that it feels like we are leaning into her menace we had after Laura's accident than Cartoon Leslie. Slowly, but surely.

That crimped, wavy hairstyle makes Leslie a little more menacing, IMO. Her craziness is a more dangerous Nikki Parker type of crazy (although Nikki was pretty nuts), but in some ways it seems like she enjoys arguing with Shanice more than she actually wants Ted. After all she has been having a good time with Marcel.

SPS/Leslie must be crazy, because she's getting in Shanice's face when Shanice has seem her in the past posing as a nurse in disguise. She be tempting fate stepping up to Shanice like that.

Just be glad they aren't doing it on Zoom!

I totally gasped when Anita fainted. BTG is on fire and we got a cliffhanger Friday episode.

I wasn't thrilled when Kial appeared to drop off the face of the earth but yet again he breezed back in seamlessly.

Leslie is definitely a piece of work but I think she's met her match with Shanice. Hopefully, we get a catfight soon.

Sharon stole the show. "When Jesus is my portion, a constant friend is He. His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches over me."

I really did love that. No lie.

Perhaps that's on Joey's flashdrive. He already have people in his pocket on the police force. Not hard to believe he might have someone in the hospital.

Well, I see CBS corrected their episode problem finally.

Good because I will be rewatching. Such a good week.

Today’s episode was a good one. Since the special episode on Monday the show has felt different, more energy and direction. Something tells me the show will hit its stride during season 2.

Totally agree! I was out of country this week so I just watched the entire week in one sitting last night and enjoyed it. I'm so happy with the show right now.

Rewatching the Friday episode, some interesting little things stuck out to me.

Ashley/Derek/Grayson: The show made a good decision nixing the Andre/Ashley thing, but it hasn't resolved the main issue with this situation... how isolated it still is from the rest of the show. Just make Ashley Joey's daughter and that would connect her even more to the main plotline.

Mona/Jan: I like that the Have Not's have upgraded from breakfast at Orphey Jeans to Uptown (I think that's the name of it).

Kial: I'm wondering if we were led to believe he was being bought on for Nicole.. and the date with Nicole with just a red herring. What if the show is intending him to be for Vanessa long term?

Izaiah: Unpopular opinion, but I think his job at the university is more fulfilling than something superficial like modeling.

Eva/SPS: Interesting parallels that the writers were trying to make between the two women. Eva stating her giving up on a relationship with Tomas has resulted in her meeting a new guy and encouraging her mother to give up on Ted and focus on Marcel. Interesting that SPS seems to think the Tomas and Ted situations are different when they seem to be similar.

tbf, it's giving good solid C story for now and I don't mind it. Joey vs SPS is giving enough great B story so there's not overkill on the Anita's Cancer A story so a story not completely connected to the main story is a nice one. Moreso because while this story isn't connected, the show has done a good job of keeping Ashley connected to the main characters/story, but not hitting us over the head with her.

And now we are about to get another C plot that MIGHT be connected at some point with Jacob going undercover, too.
