I also have mixed feelings about Rachel doing an internet search to find about Sarahโ€™s allergies. It felt a little clunky and I thought Rachel liked Sarah, regardless of Brady and Kristen. But Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing what happens. That kid still needs a slap though ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜‚

See, after Johnny, Tate, and Holly never searching their birth, I found it refreshing that at least one kid had the gumption to google themselves.

Loving the new font and clean look of this thread. It is like someone came and wiped away all the cobwebs and it all fresh and new.

She likes Sarah but she doesn't want her or anyone romantically involved with him but Kristen

Yeah.

But I always figured Sarah would be the one to help her get passed that ๐Ÿ˜‚

I still hope Brady gives her a smack

It would be a good twist if Rachel LIKED the idea of Sarah and Brady so much that she actually supported it.

I'm sure I said this before but Rachel is so damn creepy. Very appropriate for a child of Kristen. I start sucking my teeth every time that bad seed appears.

God, I can't stand that friggin kid ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I was interested in Rachel, Sarah and Brady's scenes today and I'd like to see what this is going to lead to but I'm so tired of Rachel. And the fact that Brady is probably gonna let her get away with this crap is ridiculous. I really thought stuff like this was going to be ended once Ron left. And if Brady's not gonna give her a slap, he should at least have her little demon ass locked up in Bayview with Sophia. With the way that today ended, hopefully that happens.

Speaking of Sophia, she really was the topic of conversation today lol. Gabi using her own history to help Ari understand what Sophia was going through was a good idea. I'm curious to see if Ari knowing the truth about everything now will somehow play into this storyline, and lead to some more conflict for everybody involved, especially since it looks like they might be going there with Ari and Aaron. I'm not completely against pairing them, but I'm still not too sure about it. I can't really see Ari going from older bad boy Doug III to sweet nerdy good boy Aaron lol. Louis Tomeo's acting when Ari and Aaron went to see Sophia was a little... ehhh though, but I still like the character and the actor. And yes Ari, we wish your Dads could be in Salem for the holidays too ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‚

And I'll always enjoy Kayla going head to head with EJ. Kayla finding out that Mark is working at the free clinic and being so insistent on seeing the lab could lead to something interesting happening. I wouldn't mind her, and even Steve and Stephanie being weaved into EJ's storyline as well. And now Mark is beginning to realize that everything at the lab might not be on the up and up, I'm curious to see how his part in this storyline is going to play out.

And once again, Susan was unnecessary. Maybe it's time to kill her, and Dr. Rolf off for good.

Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.ย

HPV related cancers are not restricted to the site of initial infection because HPV infects squamous cells which line many organs. The key with these types of cancers is the HPV infection has to be persistent and long lasting (in a lot of people they clear on their own after a year or two thanks to the body's immune system and do not persist). That is why the HPV vaccine is important: it protects against persistent infection which can later turn into cancer cells in multiple parts of the body, wherever there are squamous cells, not just wherever the initial site of infection was.

Suzanne is a lovely lady and I hope she enjoys many years of good health ahead of her.

-- Sophia did her best acting today. Playing catatonic suits her.

-- Please kill off Susan.

-- Rachel is a monster. Please kill off Rachel.

I was thinking the same thing.

I haven't really had much to say about the show in months.....until Friday's episode. Loved the Gabi/Ari scenes. When Gabi was telling Ari about the past, I honestly didn't remember anything that happened back then. LOL I thought Cherie Jimenez did pretty well with those emotional scenes.

Also really liked the Rachel/Brady/Sarah scenes. I was surprised when Rachel revealed she knew what happened to her as a baby. I thought she would keep that to herself for a bit longer. Sarah telling Rachel that she will always be one of the brightest things in her life was another great emotional scene. I liked that Rachel tried to harm Sarah but her conscience got to her and she tried to stop Sarah. I think Rachel is such an interesting character, especially for that age. I didn't expect Sarah's allergic reaction would trigger Rachel remembering she shot EJ. Alice Halsey is so good. DAYS needs a young Sami Brady like character, and Rachel could be it in a few years. She's already way more interesting than Holly/Ari/Tate/Aaron.

Playing a great deal of catch-up...

The anniversary segments brought me to tears. A testament to the power of Soap. Never watched DOOL in my youth, I'm relatively new to the show, but not unlike my emotional reaction the final episode of SFT, it only takes deeply felt and informed onscreen connections to sweepingly update and engage even the most casual viewer. I felt like I had been along for decades.

The new Theo is simultaneously the best and the worst Theo. The best in terms of acting ability, while the worst in terms of affected acting choices. I feel like I am watching an actor at craft, rather than a human being. In more positive ways, he reminds me of a young Al Freeman, Jr.

The new Rachel is excellent, particularly for her age. She out-performs several castmates to her senior.

A purely superficial comment/compliment, but DH looks fantastic. A beautiful woman in the vein of others of her generation who like EJ just said in the episode I'm currently watching, "... keep up the good work."

Are the Greens coded or expressly Jewish?
