DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread 

Not much to bitch about today, but Cat & Liam?  Could be nice

Horton Square is going to hell in a hand basket.  First looting and errant pumpkins, now there's rampant purse snatching.  Alice would be horrified.

Meanwhile, Cat has the worst luck.  Yesterday she got hit by a pumpkin, and today her wrist was injured.  I hope she doesn't burn herself on the turkey next, it will ruin her nails, if she doesn't get accidentally pregnant from the turkey baster first.

That's actually a great theory.  I can buy that.  It almost seems too obvious to make him Ben's stalker, but it's Days lol

If they bring back Connie, that kooky lady who kidnapped Melinda, or if Stephanie's stalker is a crazed fan, or if it is something based on her book, I may pluck an eyelash.

I think the misdirect is that the stalker is after Alex, when they are really after Stephanie (unless it is Joy Wesley - that would be a surprise).

But, defaulting to a nutty fan will give me Body & Soul flashbacks.  Regardless of who is steering the ship, we can't keep going back to crazed fan well. Meanwhile, I'm getting ahead of myself, just a theory.

Well, you are the most ill-informed, condescending person on this board so I am glad you enjoy mocking me? Or whatever you are trying to do lol.  You literally can't comprehend the simplest things about the show and don't watch, but are literally shaming me for being a women?

It also strangely happened while the story was airing. You had a gothic and spooky story that because it got eyeballs ended up being dragged out and turned into camp. Marlena starts talking to herself constantly with that voice, she’s strapped to the bed for a never ending exorcism, would almost die multiple times during the process, and then everyone would just leave her there with Caroline Brady sitting next to her holding a rosary.

Reilly had the show so segregated that when Carrie found out what was happening in practically her next scene she was like I’m praying for Marlena. Now what are we going to do about Sami? I don’t know about anyone else, but I would probably stop my storyline for at least a couple of episodes and have to go see my stepmother that had a huge part in raising me floating around with those eyes in her beautiful penthouse. It was just so stupid, and when it started I didn’t necessarily agree with the story being told, but at least it was taken seriously.

I haven't watched DAYS in years, so I have some questions for anyone who can answer them.

Is the show actually acknowledging that Jeremy abused Stephanie?  The things he did to her back in 2007 were reprehensible.  I wasn't watching too much when that was happening, but I seem to remember that the show (at the time) didn't outright label him an abusive partner and instead acted like he was just badly behaved or something like that.  Could someone who was watching back then tell me how they remember it?

Yes they are acknowledging Jeremy's abuse and specifically the hot tub incident where Jeremy tried to drown her.

On another note, glad the board is back. I had to watch Days blindly today before reading @AbcNbc247's recaps and it was tough lol.

I never accepted Nazi Jeremy as real tbqh.

Welcome back, Justin! It’s been a while.

There were a lot of good conversations and discussions today, and Justin and Jennifer’s was one of them. We got a really good understanding of why characters, like her, are doing the things that they’re doing. She’s still being a real douche, but in the context of this story, it works. And above all, it’s good drama.

I also enjoyed Chad and Jeremy’s scenes, and I’m glad that he has Jeremy to confide in. He actually sounded like a teacher today lol Plus, he’s much better friend for Chad to have than Leo 😂😂

And even though I have mixed feelings about Jeremy’s suggestion to Chad, I wouldn’t mind it being used as a way to move this storyline along. Hopefully, we won’t be let down and we’ll get Chad vs. Jennifer in court as well.

I also have mixed feelings about Rachel doing an internet search to find about Sarah’s allergies. It felt a little clunky and I thought Rachel liked Sarah, regardless of Brady and Kristen. But I’m looking forward to seeing what happens. That kid still needs a slap though 👋😂

Speaking of Sarah, her and Xander were kinda breaking my heart today too lol they’re in a typical soap dilemma, where they still love each other and want to be together but just can’t be, and I really enjoy seeing it. They really are like a classic supercouple, and I’m looking forward to seeing where they go from here, and how they’ll inevitably find their way back to each other.

As for Rafe and Cat, I actually found them interesting today too. I think Cat using her past with EJ to get closer to him and find out what he’s up to is a good idea and could lead to a lot of interesting things happening. I still say that Andrew should be their boss, and be onscreen though.

Btw Rafe, it’s “Wuthering” not “Withering” 😂😂😂
