What is BLQ's story?  Shaming Tracy?  Complaining about Gio?  She appears but hasn't done anything for months.  The Chase/Brook Lynn adoption plot was stalled or dropped and even the Chase/Willow stuff has been backburned.

Honestly, Chase/BLQ annoy me to death.  They were all sad about being kicked out of the mansion, but Chase has his own apartment lol.  The move to the Q's was temporary to give stupid Violet a sense of family.

And this question isn't only for you, but for anyone.  Why did everyone assume Michael would get the house?   What has he done to deserve it?

You’re speaking my language in the last paragraph. The fact that he’s still close to the man that killed her son and has his last name and gave her great grandkids his last name should be reasons enough for him to never get the house. A Corinthos owning the Quartermaine estate would be such an insult.

It’s a dumb metaphor, I know—but it’s like when Tori Spelling didn’t inherit a fortune from her father because her mother was still alive. Same principle applies to Monica and Tracy: it makes sense that the house stays within their generation. Alan bought it and gave it to Monica, but Tracy and their parents lived there on and off for forty years. That’s deep-rooted occupancy, she's got squatter's rights.

(And I assume we’ll never get clarity on what Edward and Lila did with their original Hamptons house—the one where Tracy and Alan were raised -- just like we'll never know what happened to 1st cousin Alexandra or 3rd cousin Celia Quatermaine's family tree and their wealth).

In most families, property functions as generational wealth—it’s not distributed until the generation dies. Grandkids rarely inherit the estate directly. It’s not like Charles III is going to hand Buckingham Palace to Prince George just because he’s got castles to spare. They’re all going to William. And if William or Harry were to predecease Charles, the properties would revert to his siblings… well, never mind.

It's crazy Lulu/Dante aren't anywhere near reuniting.  I didn't realize Sam had been dead for a year until everyone brought it up, but I think Dante's had enough time to grieve.

Has he even grieve?

I mean...I know he did at first, but the writing no longer touches on it. A year later, and he and Lulu are what? Basically playing house without truly playing house...no attempt to even build them back up to a couple. It is just so silly. But I guess it goes back to what I've been saying about the lack of romance or couples on this show.

Not you mentioning this after what I wrote. lol. Right now, I just feel like these writers are setting up the Chase/Willow angle to loop back around. But that said, they do seem to have stalled the Chase/BLQ adoption angle to it all because there is more development to Chase/Willow right now vs BLQ having a presence or even mention about what's going on in their life.

It seems like the writers have been making a point long before Monica passed onscreen that Michael had gotten closer as he brought his kids to Q Manor. Though the dialogue has been more on mentioning it since she passed. Keeping the Q legacy alive. Has he done anything to deserve it besides being Jason's non-biological son (but AJ's biological son) and heading ELQ? Nope. Or perhaps (AJ) it's that fact.

I can see the Chase/Willow situation being on the table still, but Dante/BLQ?  There hasn't been a single moment where there even seemed to be any heat or lingering feelings.  The Gio reveal was months ago and the time to strike would have been then.

There was a touch of something at Monica's service, I thought. But that's just how glacial the show is.

I wish they would realize it doesn't have to be that slow though. It could even enrich an already good show.

Someday, I'd love to ask FV how he manages to cram so many :30 scenes into one episode, yet keeps most of the stories moving at a pace that is BEYOND slow.

I really don't know why everyone thinks it should be Michael's for all the above reasoning.  Tracy is the obvious choice, but Ned and Olivia or even Jason would seem to be more obvious than Michael who just lives at the Q's with his kids.  Actually Monica just leaving it split between Jason/Drew would have been hilarious.

I think Dante did grieve.  5 minutes before Sam croaked I actually but them as a couple lol.

Perhaps.  Setton is such a cold fish when it comes to romantic pairings it's hard to tell lol.

Side-note...oh how I glare (though I love her bitca face like no other) at how they use Liz to prop Britt.

Rebecca so deserves better.

THIS.

Though when it moves, it does move.

I would have hollered, but I would have loved it. If I can't get Ric, Jason vs Drew is a great rivalry to watch and always has been for me. JB and CM have great adversary chemistry. And perhaps it might just force them to come to a mending of fences which could be a good story down the road.

I feel like he did. I think I am just used to the days that when a love interest died and they were a fan fave, the writing would allow for the character (and the best actor were great at showing it extendedly) to grieve over at a minimum 6 months to a year. I feel when it comes to Sam and grieving...it just...faded away?

I think Frank tried really hard to make Sam fade away lol

It would have been amusing to watch Drew/Jason battle it out for the house, but I am not sure Jason cares enough?

He did. No question.

I think Jason would do it for the kids and Sam. That is why everyone moved into the mansion, but I feel like more than likely Drew's arrogance and Jason's disdain for it would push that storyline forward. Very much like how every time Ronnie has tried to be nice and civic with Tracy pre-tea party, Tracy made it worse by being Tracy.

I could see a world where Monica saw the good in both Drew/Jason and wanted them to work things out.  Leaving the estate to both of them would do that.

But........I am totally fine with her leaving the house to Tracy.
