Much better episode yesterday and great ending.  I actually really felt the Vanessa/Doug phone call scenes, and when he found out Joey was there with her, I felt that hurt.  Great scenes. 

Naomi freaking out about the rings makes sense to me, seems normal for most women, except the symbolism/worry about the marriage breaking apart if she can't find them, that part was odd. Although did I miss a scene, how did Naomi get the rings in her bedroom after June realized they may be hers... did she come deliver them, did Jacob go get them?  That was confusing.  

Did they expand their bedroom set? I don't remember the space with the mirror. 

The set for Vanessa/Joey seemed new too, I wonder which existing set they changed up for it.

I agree that this is probably what they were going for, but this seems to be a general issue with BTG - they seem to be missing the "beats" and thus build up to certain things. Maybe the fall out will justify what they were writing, but the issue seems to me like the writers seem to think that playing the beats before the event is boring and we should just skip straight to the dessert. Except the full meal is always what makes the dessert so satisfying. 

I really hope they learn to pace things better but being essentially six months ahead in writing it'll take a while yet.
