bringing characters back and reuniting couples, just to kill them off is such psychotic writing. I have no idea what Y&R is trying to do except show viewers that they shouldn't care about these characters or their relationships anymore.

It's totally psychotic and incredibly lazy.

This show is so stupid. Like deeply stupid.

Indeed, I can only watch episodes sporadically for important events because the day to day of this show is horrendous. Can you imagine what Bill Bell would think if he was alive and able to watch it?

I just want Griffith to go so badly...but that's asking a lot I guess! 🙄

It's astounding that Sony seems satisfied with the state of the show. It's like Y&R is where Sony puts its ex-employees and their friends out to pasture.

Yep! instead of actually finding new talented blood for the show, they prefer to keep Griffith just because he's friends with all those big heads of SONY!

I’m so about to just start hate watching just like B&B, although I know it will be also like watching paint dry on the walls.

Haha all I do is hate watch! 😂😂

I wish they could have at least Said Cole had gotten the same illness that took his mother's life years ago. I feel like they explained Eve's death as being a cause of an insect bite from when she was on her cruise but I can't remember specifically. Either way that would have been better!

Exactly, and my theory is they'd have a lot more budget if they didn't waste it on giving people vanity titles.

What a stupid move Josh Griffith!  F history he must say, smh.   J. Eddie Peck and Amelia Heinle have great chemistry.  They should've instead gave him a contract. This and the killing off of Chance too is beyond idiotic!

Without question. The role of Executive in Charge of Production, currently assumed by Steve Kent, is one of those glaring vanity titles with a salary that would outdo most of the cast.

JG undoing all the actual positive accomplishments he actually made makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Killing off Heather and Cole, bringing back Cane in the most ridiculous way, and Alison Lanier walking out on the show…obviously JG taking 10 steps back after moving one step forward.

Why couldn’t he just let Cole and Victoria just settle?

Same.

That second one...has put me on break from the show. I just can't.

I would have loved that. I always liked Cole and I never thought he would EVER come back. And I didn't mind him and Victoria back together. But for THIS? Ugh.

How much longer is Failiy Erin going to be on the show? She seems to getting reduced airtime and would add to JG’s even more pointlessness.

I didn't care for Heather, so her death was no big loss to me, but killing Cole is dumb. There could have been more interaction with Ashley, etc.  The story didn't need to be just dropped.

The loss of Lanier was huge, though considering how much story and airtime JG devotes to Failly Erin I can't blame her for leaving.

Episodes with this trifecta are ff material
