Agreed. Why did it all occur off-screen?  And why are we still wondering about this "secret," three months later???  It should have been revealed within a month of it's beginning.  It's not important enough to drag out this long.  Jeeze-Louise!!

The group scenes feel awkward and I don’t know why. It’s like they don’t all like each other. When they’re acting around their regular scene partners they just appear much more relaxed. 

As I have said before, JG certainly does NOT know how to write Y&R. He seems to have no understanding of the show, or what compels the audience to watch.  But at least he is not ruining the show by having characters behave completely "out of character," or by killing-off major characters as JFP and others would be doing, if any of them were in charge. JG's writing is just boring and disappointing.  So as much as I dislike JG's work on Y&R, I'm not sure if he is a blessing or a curse.   Your thoughts???

For me, he's a curse. I've NEVER been more bored or unhappy with Y&R than I am at present. The show is stagnant and dead and awful.

Look at today's show. A dozen scenes of Danny sitting with Daniel at a table in Society -- not moving, no activity. It was all about Danny possibly marrying "Cricket," as if that matters. This is a couple we see for 3 days every few months.

Then we get Mariah separating from Tessa -- and not telling her why. Who does this??? It's just terrible soap.

Thank god for classic GL and Days episodes I have recently stumbled on. It’s definitely itching that scratch that I need right now for soap watching!

He is such a curse. He’s made the show so boring I’ve basically stopped watching unless there’s a major event.

So Y&R wisely let viewers catch their breath after the glamour and excitement of the Dumas story to a more traditional style-2 characters sitting around for the whole episode talking;

1. Daniel and Danny focusing on his new musical interest and outlook on life.. Danny is reminding me of how Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley look out of Kiss makeup. Time to lighten up on the hair dye,Mike.

2. Weepy Mariah telling Tessa AGAIN she couldn't possibly reveal what she has done because it is something soooo terrible.

3.Chelsea and Adam talking AGAIN about where they are in their lives before sexing on the office sofa.

RIVETING 

Then in a shocking twist Danny and Daniel went to Crimson Lights after dining at Society. Is the coffee at Society so bad??

Then after Daniel spots Tessa, Danny just walks out. So much for an after dinner coffee!

I skipped the Adam/Chelsea chatfest. But is it possible that the name Aristotle Dumas was not mentioned for the first time in months?

I used to like him in his various runs around soaps. But now...same.

Alright so cats out of the bag.. Dumas is indeed Cane.. and as much as it PAINS me to admit this.. Billy Flynn and Christel Khalil seem to have chemistry. I still hate this storyline. 

 

It’s super odd that Adam and Chelsea aren’t in France with the rest of the cast. I wonder if it has anything to do with Mark Grossman’s two ex-girlfriends being there. 

Le sigh.

I’m going to watch the reveal just out of morbid curiosity but this is so dumb.

Okay so I said the bedroom sets were sleeper cars on the train, and not bedrooms inside the Dumas mansion. 
That is true.  The bedrooms are on the train.

But that's where Victor and Nikki go to relax while waiting for Dumas to arrive, to their private train car.  Really. 

It seems like the train car bedrooms are used while the train is parked at the estate?  Did I miss something?

Great minds. Because knowing for sure makes me want to officially throw up my hands and go on break versus watching by synopsis or just outright letting the episodes delete off my system...which is why I've been doing as of late.
