Crew Morrow's tribute to Joshua on Father's Day . . . . .

mJe30vN.png

That was so touching, I started to cry. Josh must be so proud to have fathered such a sensitive and eloquent son.

Your sarcasm made me LOL, Paul, but I thought Crew's Father's Day message was pretty damn awesome, and one most fathers would be honored by. It captures the Josh we (think we) know as a performer and as a dad.

-- Adam and Chelsea constantly dine in restaurants. Do they leave Connor at hom all the time with a box of Cheerios?

-- Of course, we also know that Nick is never with Christian, so I guess it runs in the Newman family.

-- This show is overboard with the Victor propping. How many times do we have to hear that "Victor is always 10 steps ahead" of everyone else, including business tycoons like Dumas?

Don’t you know? Victor Newman is the smartest man that has ever lived.

I loved it too. It’s sweet.

Poor  Josh Griffith, thinking he's writing a bargain basement Knives Out and not a soap.

I'm surprised they haven't resurrected the crappy CGI backgrounds they were using for a minute.

The next month or so is going to be torture.

Nice, France

justinjacksonhair (Justin Jackson, hairstylist)
The hair for Nikki Newman in the France episodes are inspired from the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
I wanted to channel Liz Taylor from the 50s for this specific look.

Yep. That train set is actually pretty decent, yet it's all so STAGNANT. Characters sit and never move. It's stifling and suffocating. I'm sure they love filming this way because it's so much simpler and faster and cheaper.

God, I was just thinking about that yesterday! The always awful CGI seemed to get more play when Ed Scott returned. Now that it's gone (fingers crossed) I don't know whether to thank Ed Scott for realizing the error of his ways or to be happy he took that CGI with him into his "retirement."

Nikki's hair looks fine, although the jewelry looks like it came from the Katherine Chancellor collection.

Yea the chunky necklace looks like it's competing with, not complementing the outfit. Very Helen Roper.

The dining table and buffet setup in Nice. I's sure lighting will make it all look better when it airs, but that buffet table looks kind of weak -- and lacking food.

We're going to see a lot of those "green walls" in the next couple weeks.

LOL they look pretty bad in that photo.

The tall green walls are supposed to be the walls of the maze made of tall shrubbery.  (When the characters were shown walking through the maze, the walls of the maze were much taller than the people.).

When the scenes air, you don't see the top edges of the scenery boards which show in the behind-the-scenes photos.  When it airs, it looks (somewhat) like real shrubbery.

EDIT to clarify -- the maze walls are supposed to be shrubbery trimmed with a flat horizontal top.
A very tall hedge.

I think the food is set up in the center of the maze.
