In honor of her chaste relationship with Sonny, it looks like they gave Natalia a chaste death; just a simple poisoning, no blood.

Didn't Natalia just OD?  It didn't look like she was poisoned. She was just drinking and taking anxiety? pills.

Also, can Natalia not voice text in 2025?

-- Yeah, I'm confused if that was a poisoning. I thought she was just doing an OD.

-- Those "word salad" texts from Natalia to Marco were actually laughable.  None of that resembled drunk or stoned texting. And yeah, she would have voice-texted. But you know how it is when plot convenience matters most of all.

-- I've been highly critical of Natalia/Eva LaRue, but she was good today. Those scenes with Sonny were hard to watch, though, because Maurice Benard was so bad. I mean, yikes. He comes off as a weak old man who gets alerts on his phone to take his medication.

It looked like Natalia had a panic attack when she got back to her room, took medication, and drank half a bottle of whiskey/bourbon/rum and then forgot she took her pills and kept taking them.   Sonny's guard kept asking for her to come out and said it was time to go, so I don't think it was poison.  She just passed out.

I am not even sure you could categorize Natalia's messages as world salad.  It was more auto correct actively working against her lol.

I hear you. I mentioned "word salad" only because that's how Marco referred to her messages.

See ya, Natalia.

Seriously, what a lame duck this character was. Nothing they gave her to do even worked in the slightest way. I won't miss her, but hopefully her death will lead something that has huge ripple effects across the canvas.

Lucas and Marco were really sweet though. 😊😊

And yeah, Portia was still a douche lol but at the same time, I admit I haven't been this interested in Portia/Curtis/Jordan in a long time.

The ending cliffhanger was really good too!

Yeah, I heard Marco say that more than once lol.  I am absolutely not blaming this on Marco, but showing his mom's drunken texts to Lucas and being like, oh well? was humorous.  And saying this happens all the time when Natalia wasn't even a drunk until last month. The woman couldn't even complete a sentence.   Eva La Rue gives a pretty decent interview about her departure basically saying, yeah, the character just didn't happen.

Agree with all of this. I would like to see a different hairstyle on Portia once in a while. She's had that same look since she appeared on the show.

Te show was pretty good today, but I rolled my eye near the end when they went back-and-forth between Natalie's OD and Daisy's christening. The Godfather this show ain't.

I put it in the spoiler thread. It is funny to hear her say yeah, nobody bought it. I am surprised she didn't realize she was in trouble til January. She seems to fully understand the character didn't work because Frank once again decided 'well, let's keep her too!'

It's a shame such a waste of talent. Another character written horribly.

On another note, watching Sonny today, I think this character needs to be retired or seriously backburned.

I genuinely don’t understand what the purpose of Natalia was. And such a weird exit. The character didn’t even have to suck, they actively chose to make her suck and then gave up on her. I thought Eva was good today though.

She should have realized trouble when she signed the contract.  But I could see Eva thinking the slight reform of the character, the addition of more family, and a possible Sonny pairing would have saved her for a bit.  I don't think anything would have saved that character long term.  I just could see her reasoning.

I am still of the mind that they should have paired her with Sonny short term.  Not because I care about her or a Sonny pairing.  Now it's just some random alcoholic died that no one cares about.  It has zero impact.  I guess Marco might be sad.  Blaze won't even leave her Ricky Martin tour lol.

At least Eva got paid I suppose?  I think there were some behind the scenes shenanigans with Blaze/Kristina and everything got really messed up for Natalia.  The show tried half-heartedly and just called it a loss.  That's fine to me because I do appreciate that actively happening on GH when they tend to keep people for years and years, but I do feel bad for Eva.  I don't think there was ever a true way to recover from firing the gay daughter and leaving the homophobic mother on the show.
