So if I understand correctly... Andre is kind of pressuring Dani to go public with their 'relationship'/'no strings attached' arrangement... yet is also keeping quiet about this once Ashley starts to indicate she might be interested in Andre.   I guess this is the show attempting to show that Andre still has a bit of player in him.

The show is still figuring out the story focus rotation... but MVJ seems to love shoe horning Dani into scenes... even if other characters might benefit from focus/development.   

Hopefully the show in the fall will reign in Dani a bit to where she's humbled a bit.. but still has a backbone.

@dragonfliesJoey/Vanessa/Doug and the casino set seems more Guza oriented with Joey's criminal vibe, Vanessa's obsession with the dark side, and Doug being the outsider watching his wife and the man he owes money to undressing one another with their eyes.

Ashley seems more like a Brad Bell esque character

Boring Basic Ashley is so boring that I prefer watching commercials for Ozempic and diarrhea pills when she is on. SHE IS LOST AIRTIME. W-R-I-T-E H-E-R O-F-F ! I literally haven't met a single person online that is not bored to death by this character. WE DON'T WANT HER. PERIOD. Let her visit LA and migrate into Bold. She can be Eric's personal nurse that helps him with his erectile dysfunction for all I care. JUST get her off from BTG. Give her to Bradley Bell.

She's crazy. She is literally going to have sex with Andre and come into work wirh cornrows the next day. She is ridiculous. 

I am actually okay with Dani's high and lows. It is a bit of a rollercoaster, but when she has her more down to earth moments, it makes her very likable. 

Dani tells Anita that Andre is so nice, but how has he been so nice? He pressured her to out this situationship which is no one's business all for what? Then today Andre says he knows what he wants, but Dani isn't sure yet. However, he had no issue keeping this situationship he wanted out there so bad quiet when Ashley showed interest. Andre wants his cake and to eat it too. 

I thought Anita and the family gathering was sweet. Anita is definitely the matriarch this soap needs. 

As for Kat and Eva, I don't know if Kat was being genuine in helping Eva. Watching it I felt it was real, but then I saw a comment on here and was like hmmm. I did find it odd that Kat just told Eva to ignore the accreditation window and to hit ignore. 

Similarly, I found Eva's antagonistic vibe off. It is usually Kat that triggers it from Eva...she usually isn't just outwardly nasty to Kat first. Especially talking about Kat's man like that knowing that it didn't go all too well the night before. 

I was surprised Anita wasn't a little more weirded out by the Dani and Andre stuff. While yes, they are consenting adults and there is nothing anyone can do about it...it is still a touch weird. If I were to find out my aunt was messing with a nephew albeit not blood related - it would still be weird at least at first. They all must have seen Andre grow up and at holidays. He was a kid while Dani was a grown woman with her own family. As Nicole said...ew. 

Turtlehead Ted 😃 is still not doing much for me, but the past two days have been better. Ted is also not being realistic with all the demands he is putting on Eva. Also, Kat implied that there were other assistants in house that could have easily been promoted. Why are they being delegated a little more work and helping Eva get trained in the meantime.

I'm also confused about this clinic. Where is it? They are always working out of his office in the hospital. Is the clinic completely out of commission for repairs? I hope eventually there is a set for the clinic. 

 

 

 

 

I think Anita was a bit taken aback by the Dani/Andre stuff but if it means Dani is happy and can eventually move on from Bill, then she's for anything that does that for Dani 

Well darn Nicole!!!! I was not expecting her to be so cold (or shady) to Dani.  So awwwww

 

Happy to see Anita. VERY happy it's a Sara day! 

 

And oh, look...an Andre/Eva scene. 

 

Hahaha at Anita picking up on the shade. And OMG!!! I don't know what shocked me more...Anita using her full first name or Dani TELLING Anita!!! So Dani/Andre is really coming out then, huh?

Yay!!! We are getting a Jacob/Smitty scene. And Jacob spitting truth. And touching on what we all have been saying about Smitty being a bit of a pushover/doormat.

I won't say too much, but as I think of outcomes to the Martin story, I believe the show will go there with one of my ideas. It could impact Naomi and Jacob big time if the show decides to go that route!

That's sometimes how it is in real life at any job. You never had to train a new employee only to find out their the boss's nephew? Unfortunately, it happens when people have outside relationships or share blood.

I admit that I'm living this idea of using Anita for recapping on each character as a story idea. Kinda like getting a temperature reading on one hand. And a checkpoint number as another.
