"Brat"

LOL at the way she said that under her breath

Huh? Shanice isnt a cop...she's a witness! She is the only person that actually saw Dana as Nurse Lulu and can undeniably confirm that they are one and the same. Mona cant. It makes zero sense to go to Mona about a blurry picture when they can go to the source at the hospital, Shanice

Dani is the loser, and today is a perfect example of what she must have been like during her marriage to Bill.   No wonder Bill cheated on her, and eventually dumped her.

Hayley finally was showing some spunk, and for a first timer.. she didn't do too bad.

Without her last name, Dani would be no one.. and deep down, she knows it... hence her diving back into the bottle at every turn.

Silk Press Sheila and NuTed's scenes are becoming one note... but if the Dani/Bill/Hayley scenes can finally become less than one note.. than I have hopes that their scenes will as well.

Dani's wishful thinking might end up being right. Something seems off about Hayley claiming she's pregnant (again) and Bill's health issues might reveal that he's sterile.

Leslie becomes crazy every time it seems she can't get more insane. NuTed treats her as an annoyance where as the old one loathed her and that's a noticeable difference.

Leslie has showed up at Ted's hotel room far too many times. It's becoming redundant.  Why the hell does he let her in?  He should just shut the door in her face.  Letting her in makes Ted look like a naive idiot, which is is not. Any normal man would refuse to be alone in the same room with a woman who had done this to his family.  I understand the two characters need to interact -- that's what dramatic conflict is all about.  But we've endured more than enough of Leslie's visits to Ted's hotel room.  The writers need to create other ways for them to interact.

    • That's the one thing I really dislike about all this. Orpheus should not be alive.  If anything, I hope he's erased from existence from here on. He has no purpose now that John is dead.
    • Yeah, it's so undignified. And looked it! But man, you can tell Stephen Nichols, etc. are not acting. They should've canned the fake voice guy at the very least. Great, now I have to try to remember who the fúck Xander is related to.
    • I am the first to say I don't have the perfect scenario for John's death in my head.  I think it would have had something to do with saving the world from Orpheus and killing Orpheus once and for all, but losing his own life in the effort. I am actually sad Orpheus is still alive and well doing dastardly deeds.  I GET the saving Bo idea.  I just am not sure I want to say, "Oh, yeah, John died in a meth lab.  Some kid attacked him and he burned to death" I love all the actors coming back to pay tribute.  It's lovely.  I think it would have been smarter for Marlena, Kayla, etc to say this is grave for John-it's time to say goodbye.  Not add in all the "he's doing great and on the road to recovery".  I assume it's a nod to Drake about always fighting, but, man, if you didn't know Drake had passed the rug would be pulled out from under you next week as an audience member.

    • LOL That's true, but also GAG ME.
    • Yeah, I don't think it was necessary to have a John body double in a hazmat suit scrabbling around on the floor with a dayplayer all to explain his death. They even have this crispy dude in a mask on a gurney. Nor would I personally have shown John wasting away in a hospital bed to die without the actor. John Black shouldn't go out like that. Even if his death isn't purely an offscreen event, you could still have woven him into a sweeps action event where John saves the day, mostly offscreen or seen in glimpses in the background without all the awkward talking to body doubles, voice clips, etc. Then he dies in an explosion or whatever and it's a blaze of glory, and no lingering in the hospital circling the drain. But I assume part of this was done so that the actors could say goodbye, and I can get behind that. I'm sure they'll all be great. Nor was it necessary to have some fake voice croak out 'go save Bo!' You could tell poor Stephen Nichols and Kristian were struggling enough as it is telling Crispy Fake John they know he'll be okay for the last time. The double was tacky enough in that situation! Not Hope going out in her Laura Bush ensemble to help save the day. Susan Seaforth Hayes has still got it, I don't care what anyone says.

    • In the previews, Gio is shown talking to Sonny. Are we really going to have Gio decide the first person he needs to see and sort through this mess is Sonny???
