Michael coming back and taking his son home was a great cliffhanger......however, my number one pet-peeve on soaps is episode-to-episode continuation.  How in the world could the writers not show us Gio/Brooklyn/Lois?? I was so bummed by that.

Is Scarlett Spears (Donna) not just the cutest little girl? Those dimples!  She was so adorable with her performance.

I agree -- Wally Kurth was good in the brief moments they gave him. So was Lisa LoCicero. I'm glad the writers remembered that Ned matters here.

I am glad Ned gets some say.  I don't really understand why he was left out of this decision.  We have no evidence that Ned wouldn't have 100% supported Brook's choice.

I can understand leaving Sonny and Olivia out of this if BLQ didn't want to reveal Dane was the dad, but Ned should have been in the loop.

Yes, Donna is the most adorable child in the world.   An unnecessary Sonny/Carly child, but adorable AF.   Justice for Avery though.  Where was she?

Holy [!@#$%^&*] just finished Friday’s episode. Despite my very public issues with this show, this week was everything I look for in soap opera. I fast forwarded all of the performances so I got nothing but soapy goodness. Honestly when GH wants to, they still pull off a Guza type event and this week was proof of that.

I have to also shout out Ned getting some strong involvement, given Brook Lynn kept the secret from him, very happy about that.

Maurice has to retire ASAP. Every other major player affected by this story, did such great work. He was embarrassingly bad like he barely knew where he was for some of his scenes. Giving him a job just because of his mental health has to stip when he’s actively ruining scenes.

So happy Ned got a point of view most of the episode.

Michael showing up with his new face and his son running up to him in front of everyone is just perfect and a great cliffhanger.

When watching the clip of Michael returning I wonder if the announcer set a record for fastest "the role of..."

I've never really connected to any of LLC's characters in her soap career, but I will give her credit for always knowing how to make a reaction and scene count. She did when Gio stormed out of the room, and her reaction to Michael returning and walking off with Miley, even in the background of a scene, was great.

(and how is today the day I just realized Lisa is married to Michael Patrick Jann, of The State fame).

Cutting just the scenes of Joss discussing Gio would've opened up some time.

Cutting all the scenes of Joss would’ve opened up even more time 😂😂😂

Agree that this was a great week that brought some much-needed payoff to storylines that have been building for months. I'm just not sure about the comparison with Guza. I think if he were writing the show right now, the big sweeps event would be probably something like Daniel Goddard's Environmental Physics professor setting off a bomb at the Nurses' Ball and the rest of the cast getting caught in the carnage.

The thing I like most about this story is that no one is really "the bad guy". It's possible to see what motivated different people. You can think things through from so many different points of view! Yes, I get it that half the town is going to be furious with Lois & a good chunk of people are gonna blame Lulu but I really think this story is amazing.

You’re really starting to see panic in the other actors’ eyes as they watch him struggle to get through his lines. There is a shot in yesterday’s episode in which Swickard is standing behind Mo while he drones on and on, and the younger actor is clearly doing everything he can to hide his “WTF” face.

Welcome, Rory Gibson!

Now, please give Michael his balls back 🙏🙏

I hope Michael is written as enough of a villain to go head to head not only with Drew, but with Sonny and Carly as well. I mean, not for nothing, it technically is Sonny's fault that he almost died... again. And I hope that the fact that he took Wiley and left the ball without saying a word to anybody means that that's going to happen.

Speaking of Sonny, making the fallout from the Gio reveal all about him was not a good idea, grandfather or not. Out of every character involved in those scenes today, Ned was the one who stood out to me the most. Wally did a pretty good job.

Btw, what was that nonsense that Kai was spewing out? We all knew who really was the best performer at the Nurses Ball this year. But I do have to admit, I really liked the final act though 😊😊

And, I love Lucas and Elizabeth's relationship too. Plus, he looked really good in that tux 😍

Casting has good taste 😂😂😂

Agreed.

That's someone on Twitter just trying to cause trouble

Specifically that's Kat & she is, there's no other way to say it except like pulling off a band-aid. She's Chad's "#1 fan" IOW, basically, kinda sorta she's an albatross around Chad's neck.  Kat can turn any conversation into a discussion of Chad & what he ate for breakfast or the most minute of minute things about Chad Duell's life & times.  We hope she's not dangerous. We hope she's just boring. That Chad is not back has lit a fire under her. She's upped her number of posts, which all relate in some way to Chad. Now you know what there is to know about as I said Chad Duell's #1 fan.

You are going to be so proud of me because I agree.  I kept thinking why is Sonny/Mo getting all the dialogue and gate keeping everyone's feelings when there are 3 other capable actors in these scenes?  Ned should have told Sonny to shut up lol.

I am fine with Sonny getting a reaction, but he got 90% of the airtime for his reaction.  I don't even think it's mental health that's keeping his job.  MB wouldn't get this much time on screen if it was a pity thing.  Frank is too afraid to cut Sonny because of fan reaction.  I know there aren't any Sonny fans here, but I do think there are Sonny fans out there (besides me) lol.

I suspected the actor who played Noah Newman would become the new Michael, but I didn't expect it was the recasted Noah Newman who would become Michael!

You thought it was Adamson? He read but apparently he had no chance. He felt disrespected by the show's reaction to him, according to his tweet.

Yup, i thought it was Adamson.

Backtracking...I love that Kristina knows now. Her smug disrespectful attitude toward Alexis was pissing me off. If not for the blackmailing Alexis part I would be rooting for Ric.

This a been a decent sweeps period for GH, I'm liking the stories right now. Good thing I can watch third party GH clips online to keep up because Beyond The Gates is keeping attention at 2PM. It's making me miss my days of living in a 3pm GH market.

The show of late has had me in hog heaven, LOL! But, really, my soaps & I are getting along just fine.  GH is excellent. BTG is beyond fabulous. DAYS is so much better.  What more could I possibly ask for? I know, 30 hours in a day?!!!
