Per the closing credits, it's the same silver-haired actor (Allan Wayne Anderson) who looks like Drake, that portrayed a different character (Dr. Karl Pilkington) on March 31 and April 1st -- the guy who looked like John but wasn't.  Now that actor is playing the realJohn.

Yes, he'll be appearing this week and next week as the John Double. Tim Gilbert is on tomorrow as well as the John Stunt Double.

I'd assume that means that the rumors were true; that they were stalling in the hope that Drake would recover.

In some ways, the writing did improve for them too, at the end of Ron's run, but I really enjoyed everything that happened to them since Paula/Jeanne took over.

They deserve to be frontburner, especially after last year.

In regards to a tweet earlier today, one of the staff writers had tweeted that it was Drake recording new voiceovers, but I double-checked with the publicist, and she said that is absolutely false. Drake did not do any new voice work for these episodes.

I'm glad she got to Jamey fast and the issue was corrected. I wasn't sure if somebody had hacked his account or not, but turns out it was just an error. 

Based on the 6:03 time stamp of his tweet, I only had told her about it 18 minutes before-hand, so that was certainly a quick response by both!

I'm not concerned about when Paula and Jeanne's own stories start. They're doing a great job with what they were left with, so there's no reason we can't appreciate it all starting now.

Which so far I do. If anything it hypes me up for their own original tales.

Happy 40th anniversary, Bo and Hope! 🎉🎉🎉 

And it was so great to see them again, and for the two of them to finally have scenes with both Shawn and Ciara, as a family. I especially enjoyed the first scene with Hope at Bo’s bedside and the flashback to their wedding. It was really sweet.

Victoria Konefal did a really good job too. It really is a shame that things didn’t work out with her… and that her character was so disregarded by the previous writing team. And yeah, they really didn’t need to have Ciara mention her serial killer though. It was not necessary. I mean, Ron’s gone lol we don’t need to do this anymore. And I don’t know where she was going with those leather pants either. 😂😂😂

As for John, like I said yesterday, I just don’t know. I’m glad that he’s a part of trying to save Bo’s life, but to have him go out like this…

As much as I disliked the whole Orpheus thing, maybe they should’ve continued on with that for John’s exit story. Like I said before, and have John sacrifice his own life to kill Orpheus once and for all. Because the fact that Orpheus is still gonna be alive while John isn’t kinda pisses me off.

I can’t help but wonder if this was always planned or if Paula/Jeanne changed the story.

But I think this whole thing is gonna be very divisive. Soap Twitter/social media will probably be explosive today.
