I decided to stream this week because of the $B + Lame scenes. Honestly, much better than I imagined because every single line was based on raw truths on both sides - no retcons or whitewashing. SC actually made me feel Liam's frustration at trying to understand and reach $B. At the same time, when $B finally unloaded with some of his truth, it worked - especially when $B reminded Liam that he accepted him immediately + Mr. Waffles!

These scenes, the Heather Tom episode, as well as the scenes with Deacon/Hope demonstrates that B&B can craft solid emotional and interesting drama. Hope's realization that Brooke's #1 priority will always be acceptance from Ridge/Forresters is long overdue. Brooke has always *followed her, um, heart* which is why Hope was the anti-Brooke in the first place.

The stories are there, but Brad has made weird choices (Sheila shooting Steam and Lethal Lunacy - neither of which needed to happen) instead of digging deeper. The best hope is that Brooke comforts $B during this crisis, but ends up accidentally bedding Liam, which should've happened years ago.

Big news to Casey means different to us the viewers.

Big news would be Bradley stepping down as head writer.

Let me guess...

Luna didn't kill the two men it was her twin sister Tuna?

Bill isn't Bill. It's his twin Gil, and that's why Bill is acting bizarre.

If this is not... Ronn Moss coming back as Ridge (never happening probably)... then don't even talk to me about it. I can't stand TK as Ridge. He's a wonderful actor, yes... but not right for the part. KKL's Brooke lost her soul when Stephanie left... and she lost her heart when Ronn Moss's Ridge left. I can't bear watching the real Brooke act like she's been in a love triangle for decades... with Greenlee and Zach. She hasn't been.

More pictures from the anniversary party. I don't remember seeing these here. KKL looks smashing.

My expectation is that it's either an update on his recent scouting trip to Italy for an upcoming remote, or, more likely, news of the show getting picked up for another season or multiple seasons by CBS, or a combination of both.

ITA - TK is a solid actor but he's not Ridge. RM, for all the criticisms, had amazing chemistry with his leading ladies, including SF. If RM was Ridge, I'd even buy Brooke's latest obsession groveling. Even after a dozen years as Ridge, there's nothing there to warrant this nonsense. Instead, they should've focused Brooke's energy on $B because DD/KKL have that 'it' thing.

    • It was interesting to peruse Twitter and seeing some fans who were very upset Anna didn't get to do a tango with Chase, while others were glad because they felt that was her special dance with Duke. A good reminder of how long-lasting soap fanbases can be, even as the show has tried to move Anna on. How any Duke/Anna fan did manage to stick with the show I don't know, but points for will power, I suppose.
    • It's probably a good thing most of us don't post here often now as the shameful conduct of the "legacy media" enabling the attention seeking and grudge holding of Tapper and Alex Thompson would probably have broken the servers. I avoid CNN as often as I can, so I had no idea that every anchor on CNN, probably even an AI Larry King, was plugging the book 24/7. The wagons truly are circling, as even some journalists who love to pretend they aren't like the rest, like Dave Weigel, have joined in. I am at the point where I have no use for any major reporters or media figures. I find it especially disgusting when I see reporters who talk about losing loved ones supporting this book after the reports you posted.
    • That wasn't an original song. That song is by ABC and was a huge hit in the 80's. As I was watching I was thinking he just ruined a great tune.

        Looking forward to that.
    • The Hollands obviously had long term story in place for Lee/Caroline/Bobby etc but when the Pollocks arrived they quickly wrapped it up with the new diagnosis and sent them packing. That could have been it for Lee but I think the Elmans brought Lee/Scotty back in their short stint.  Somebody must have regretted dumping Lee.I'm sure Peter Hansen was happy to get the call to return.
    • You have to stop and think: was Estelle the mother to all five children?  How many Mrs. Kendalls existed? Linda Cook played Aileen Kendall in flashbacks, but, at the time, we thought she was the only prior Mrs. Kendall.  It seemed that Aileen’s name was changed to Estelle when Domini Blythe came on.  But Lloyd (Peter Haskell) is said to be going through a divorce when he’s introduced (and when he’s pursuing Sunny).  To me, Aileen is Estelle, and the mother to all the children. The wife Lloyd is divorcing is inconsequential.  Wendy’s fate is never resolved.
    • Oh you are probably right. I thought Marland brought him back but that must have been an interim writer. Tex somebody...?
    • Do you have Days Breakdown list for Thurs 22 May 25 please?
    • I just hope it doesn’t become a constant thing. Like with Days, it’s funny the first time, but after the 475th time, it isn’t anymore.
    • Marland killed them? I thought that was someone else.
