Alexis has a very high opinion of herself. Ya know you think of most people putting other people up on a pedestal? I think she has herself on one. And, then her attitude about her daughters is to me pretty whack. She knows they're flawed but she acts like they're perfect, yet she has no real faith in them. She always expects the worst from them!!!

Now, I like Natasha but she's not seen very much.

Wardrobe malfunction: Why are so many characters dressed in black or blue that's so dark it almost reads black?

Alexis...Nina...Carly...Diane...Kristina...Lucky...Drew....Curtis....

It's absurd. It's all too dark.

Did Drew Q rape anybody? Is he a serial killer? Or is he just an ásshole? Because the latter doesn't mean he's irredeemable.

If he's the only organic source of conflict currently on the show I'd still keep him around awhile, even if I do think any hopes of making him be a viable white hat/grey romantic lead with Nina a la last spring, etc. are done. But a good soap always needs a natural scoundrel to make trouble, same as Ava or Ric. Making him Shiloh with plastic surgery would be typical stupid-ass GH.

Have to agree with this.

Look, we're watching a show on which Sonny kills people and it's just not mentioned again. If we're speeding by redemption with Sonny to the point of ignoring it, we can keep an ass_hole like Drew around.

I've seen that all over the place, too. Jesus, what a terrible idea...which means GH must be considering it.

Even if they don't want to use Real or bring in a recast, at least on recurring they could have Trina mentioned she spoke to her dad, "Taggert," and he decided to get himself together by moving to Texas to be closer to Gia/her family.

Yeah.  I agree.  Drew is just a jerk.  He's not a psycho cult leader (yet).  It's almost like a certain sector of fans need Drew to be worse than Sonny and Jason and he's not.

I still can't get over the fact that Sonny shot Wagger and no one even cares-and I generally defend Sonny!!!

There is no reason Drew can't be anything more than a guy corrupted by power who has turned into an ass. The actors who played the classic rich morally challenged/villainous characters on the soaps have unfortunately almost all passed away in the last 20 years and we need newer versions . I'm not saying that CM should be the new David Canary, but we need characters like Drew (and Bill on BTG!) on the soaps.

    • I'm going to be so sad when she's written out or leaves. I know characters like this have an expiration date or just come and go often, but I really think she's been an incredible asset to this freshly launched soap. You would think she's been doing soaps for decades, she's a real pro.
    • Agree that this was a great week that brought some much-needed payoff to storylines that have been building for months. I'm just not sure about the comparison with Guza. I think if he were writing the show right now, the big sweeps event would be probably something like Daniel Goddard's Environmental Physics professor setting off a bomb at the Nurses' Ball and the rest of the cast getting caught in the carnage.

    • I don’t know either But having some random junkie extra be a part of John’s death, and Orpheus still being alive doesn’t feel right  I have no problem with the age gap, but I admit I do kind of side eye the high school element. I mean, when they hooked up 21 year old Casey Moss with 53 year old Kassie DePaiva, I had no problem, but this…

    • Trisha Mann-Grant is so so good. I can’t believe I’ve never seen her in something before.
    • When watching the clip of Michael returning I wonder if the announcer set a record for fastest "the role of..." I've never really connected to any of LLC's characters in her soap career, but I will give her credit for always knowing how to make a reaction and scene count. She did when Gio stormed out of the room, and her reaction to Michael returning and walking off with Miley, even in the background of a scene, was great.  (and how is today the day I just realized Lisa is married to Michael Patrick Jann, of The State fame).
