It was not a waste of either Carly's time or Jason's time & no one else's time matters. And, the message was coming from not only the best person to deliver it but literally the only person Carly was likely to hear it from. Felicia? Even her brother Lucas? But, frustrated Jason talking to frustrated Carly in her kitchen, one afternoon, yes, then & there, with the two of them, then it became possible. The dialogue yesterday between Jason & Carly was replete with history & with promises.

What's great about Ric so far this tenure is his treatment of other people, which is exactly what his problem was in the past. Then he treated multiple people badly. Now he's treated no one badly.

I thought the acting was decent and there were some nice nods to history, but Jason/Carly have this exact conversation once a week!  We get it show.  Carly/Jason are bff for life.  Carly won't listen and it will blow up in her face and Jason will save her.

There is so much airtime dedicated to their friendship while other people and other relationships can't buy 5 minutes a week.  I like both Jason and Carly separately and even I get frustrated hearing the same dialogue over and over for an entire hour.  Can't Jason go check on his kids or Liz or something?   Who Carly is sleeping with feels low on the list of things Jason should be concerned about.

Both Jason & Carly had scenes with Danny when Sam died, which was Halloween, and off & on for a few weeks after, so in November. I think Jason has made reference to speaking to Barcelona boy, whether that was just texting, unsure, but twice. So typical contact for soap kids. Nothing special.

It looks like Danny appeared last month, but I really don't recall if it was with Jason.  Probably?  I can't say I have been terribly impressed with the Jason/Danny relationship after the initial reactions around Sam's death.

And don't even get me started on Jake.  Such an odd decision to have him leave town now that Jason is back lol.  Meanwhile we have kids like Charlotte and Violet before her being central in storylines.

I really like how Ric and Ava are putting together the pieces so quickly about what Kristina did. If they can use this as leverage against despicable Kristina and Sonny, all the better.

I liked the Lucky-Kristina scenes, although I think his softheartedness will backfire big time (and maybe spark some conflict with Elizabeth). I don't recall Liz and Lucas ever having a very close friendship, but their scenes discussing their dating lives were very cute today.

Agreed on both points.

Ava and Ric are so delicious together and they figured this out incredibly quickly so I just knew another turn was bound to happen.

Kristina might be one of the most despicable characters I've ever seen lmao and NOT because she nearly got two people killed. But the way she weaponizes Molly and TJ's daughter's and Sam's deaths to manipulate people. With her and Lucky it was "my baby" and "Adela" but notice how the baby suddenly becomes hers and Molly's later on? Ugh I hate her.

    • Watch it still be more of a classic than what B&B and Y&R would show.
    • It's a repeat. Not sure of the episode # just yet.
    • Aw, I care about Melissa. Hope's OG bff, and I'm talking before the SORAS. #neverforget I think the polite thing to do is just a simple Happy Anniversary, plus heartfelt message, without the mention of specific years. Did Melissa ever interact with Billie or Carly? I'm guessing fake Melissa did with the latter before she left? That picture made me realize I've never really thought about how it was pre-Steve and John existing. And no Roman, or Kayla, or Doug and Julie. Who was Bo's best man? And who are the three people next to him in that picture?
    • Lol.  No one cares about Melissa.  She's a non factor. I do side eye the Billie/Carly years and the multiple divorces, but I still consider John/Marlena's 1986 marriage to be their real marriage even though it's not, so I'll let the whole thing slide with Bo/Hope.  Kristian looks great so when you hear 40 years of marriage you think she was like 11 when she got married.

Here's the question, let's say you're Melissa, -- Would you be forgiven for not posting about Bo & Hope's anniversary today on social media because you didn't include the number of years that either of them were assumed dead in the last 40 years? Is it rude to Billie and Carly, if the Brady's ignore the time Bo was with them?
    • I am no Bo/Hope fan girl, but I think the ages were about 18/22.  It was more Doug finding Hope in a comprising position with Bo that gave him a heart attack lol.
    • Never forget, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bo and Hope, that their age gap was so wide it gave OG Doug a heart attack.
    • Doug can legally order drinks and has since he arrived so I assume he's like 22 or 23.  A little too old to be creeping on Holly, but they are all graduating or graduated (Ari) so it's not the worst.
    • I just think with high schoolers, you have to establish the age of their romantic interest.  Otherwise, it can get really creepy.  If Doug was 19-20, I would've enjoyed his poetry/books discussion with Holly because on paper, it was actually pretty good.
    • I am glad Ned gets some say.  I don't really understand why he was left out of this decision.  We have no evidence that Ned wouldn't have 100% supported Brook's choice. I can understand leaving Sonny and Olivia out of this if BLQ didn't want to reveal Dane was the dad, but Ned should have been in the loop. Yes, Donna is the most adorable child in the world.   An unnecessary Sonny/Carly child, but adorable AF.   Justice for Avery though.  Where was she?
