Having an actress that can act playing Emma in that age group is a much needed counteract to the horrible material Joss always gets.

Trina could have legitimately served this purpose as well, but the show was never going to let that really happen. Trina’s on, but her material is written so insignificantly.

Emma's activism is such a refreshing change from the generic good/bad, studious/ballsy, etc. we've been served when it comes to younger characters. It's specific and doesn't go against what we know of her upbringing or her family.

It's sad that they really do not care.

I must say I enjoy LMAO at the "Joss is a WSB Agent" story.

The girl is so good that she accomplished all her training for an elite spy agency in about a month, with no previous experience or knowledge or training. Even better, she gets to do her first assignment in Port Charles! And Vaughan is her backup!

Keep the laughs coming, Frank!

Today would have been a good day for TJ to appear. He works at the hospital, and both Molly and Jordan had scenes at the hospital. He should have encountered one of them. Unfortunately, he appears to no longer exist.

It’s amazing they think the audience would just not remember Molly’s ex that was on the show for 13 years.

Molly just saying all the stuff with Kristina is behind them now, shows the character is getting the same heavy handed writing as her father. Molly will probably forgive her for almost killing her dad now as well.

Always love Curtis vs Drew.

Honestly I’ve never commented on it and today I FF’d Joss as an WSB agent stuff because it’s so stupid. I sometimes feel like this show hates me

It’s amazing hearing Jason call Brennan’s world more dangerous than the mob world with him and Sonny. Didn’t Michael get shot in the head as a child? Didn’t Carly get shot giving birth to Morgan by Sonny? Didn’t Michael just blow up and catch on fire at Sonny’s apartment?

Ric wakes up and his first words are Elizabeth. Love it.

Lucy literally going door to door to coerce people into performing at the Nurses’ Ball cracked me up. Kai looked legitimately unsettled.

One irritating detail—having Sidwell “fully underwrite” the Ball, so that Lucy actually turned down donations from Drew and Curtis. That’s not how fundraisers work. Just call Sidwell a lead sponsor.

I'm glad they haven't killed the character off yet. Somehow after years away Ric returns to some of the only complex relationships on the show, all with women he has real chemistry with (and he also works well with Molly).

Even if I believed they were equally dangerous worlds, which is a stretch, why would Jason think Carly would care?  She's spent her entire life ignoring the danger of Sonny/Jason's world. Brennan's life being risky won't deter her at all. Jason is basically just wasting his breath here.

I think he was pretty clear about his meaning which is basically the devil you know as compared to the one you do not know. He did not say what you just typed, that one world was more dangerous than the other.

Of course, the reason matters, because he wants to know how Elizabeth is, after the wreck.

I don't know if this will be of interest to others or not. When I edit the first thing I do is create a base file where I've gotten rid of everything I am not interested in. Yesterday's base file is just under 19 min. which for me is SO LONG!!!!

It’s truly a waste of time. And the message is coming from the wrong person entirely.

It really makes me so happy as a longtime Ric fan to see how well they’re treating him this run. Hearst still has chemistry with all of his old scene partners and already has it with his new ones as well.

    • Watch it still be more of a classic than what B&B and Y&R would show.
    • It's a repeat. Not sure of the episode # just yet.
    • Aw, I care about Melissa. Hope's OG bff, and I'm talking before the SORAS. #neverforget I think the polite thing to do is just a simple Happy Anniversary, plus heartfelt message, without the mention of specific years. Did Melissa ever interact with Billie or Carly? I'm guessing fake Melissa did with the latter before she left? That picture made me realize I've never really thought about how it was pre-Steve and John existing. And no Roman, or Kayla, or Doug and Julie. Who was Bo's best man? And who are the three people next to him in that picture?
    • Lol.  No one cares about Melissa.  She's a non factor. I do side eye the Billie/Carly years and the multiple divorces, but I still consider John/Marlena's 1986 marriage to be their real marriage even though it's not, so I'll let the whole thing slide with Bo/Hope.  Kristian looks great so when you hear 40 years of marriage you think she was like 11 when she got married.

Here's the question, let's say you're Melissa, -- Would you be forgiven for not posting about Bo & Hope's anniversary today on social media because you didn't include the number of years that either of them were assumed dead in the last 40 years? Is it rude to Billie and Carly, if the Brady's ignore the time Bo was with them?
    • I am no Bo/Hope fan girl, but I think the ages were about 18/22.  It was more Doug finding Hope in a comprising position with Bo that gave him a heart attack lol.
    • Never forget, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bo and Hope, that their age gap was so wide it gave OG Doug a heart attack.
    • Doug can legally order drinks and has since he arrived so I assume he's like 22 or 23.  A little too old to be creeping on Holly, but they are all graduating or graduated (Ari) so it's not the worst.
    • I just think with high schoolers, you have to establish the age of their romantic interest.  Otherwise, it can get really creepy.  If Doug was 19-20, I would've enjoyed his poetry/books discussion with Holly because on paper, it was actually pretty good.
    • I am glad Ned gets some say.  I don't really understand why he was left out of this decision.  We have no evidence that Ned wouldn't have 100% supported Brook's choice. I can understand leaving Sonny and Olivia out of this if BLQ didn't want to reveal Dane was the dad, but Ned should have been in the loop. Yes, Donna is the most adorable child in the world.   An unnecessary Sonny/Carly child, but adorable AF.   Justice for Avery though.  Where was she?
