A peek at the "Dumas" set in "France".

The two gentlemen in black shirts were visiting the Y&R and B&B sets and CBS Television City -- as guests of a Y&R crewperson.  This pic is from the visitor IG account (Link)

Uploaded to IG on June 6, 2025, but the photo may have been taken any time in the past week or two.
This shows that this "France" set is/was being used for quite some time.
That fits with the Dumas invitation mentioning an "extended stay".

Knew there would be a fake outside terrace.

I think they will get 4-5 weeks out of this, by which time  we'll be longing to be back at the GC eateries.

Michelle Stafford instagram dated June 7, 2025,
https://www.instagram.com/p/DKmt3Bxx0gU/
She posted a video she said was from "yesterday" (June 6),
in which the cast and crew were eating donuts for National Donut Day.

Stafford says that they've been working very long hours recently.

Video primarily in the hair-and-make-up room and in the hallways.
(I couldn't see what sets were up, but maybe I missed something.)

If Billy Flynn was there, I didn't see him.

Susan Walters was there but in her own clothes, so no Diane wardrobe spoilers.
Peter Bergman was wearing a nice white shirt, but I couldn't see what else he was wearing.
The spoiler is that Mishael Morgan was there, so she's still taping.
(Mishael was wearing her own clothes, so no Amanda wardrobe spoilers.)

No idea if this relates to Billy Flynn or Aristotle Dumas.

That might be a clue, or it might be a random post?

It almost looks like nice linen for a table setting.  Could this be for the Dumas event?  or is it some old prop from the set archives?

Why does he say "If you know you, you know"  for this?

TV Guide interview with Billy Flynn
from TV Guide print magazine issue dated June 16

quoted by Michael Maloney for soapcentral
https://www.soapcentral.com/young-and-restless/news-billy-flynn-speaks-out-joining-the-young-restless-leaving-days-lives

Flynn does not reveal who he'll be playing on Y&R.
Flynn is "set to debut the week of June 16. That coincides with the big gala that Aristotle Dumas is set to throw."

"I love the people at [DAYS]," "but I felt like my version of Chad had run its course. It wasn't for money. I wanted to feel excited again about the work, and I wanted to work with different people and learn more."

In the interview, it says that Josh Griffith reached out to Flynn directly.

"The universe works in mysterious ways, and Josh called at the right time," Flynn adds. The actor says there's a certain gamble in leaving a role he's been very successful in for a new part, but he feels this is the right move. "So, my wife and I talked, and I made the decision to take the jump," he says. "I'm really glad I did."

On his first day, he worked with Eric Braeden.

I may check out some of his work. It's a HUGE loss for DAYS, but you can't blame him for taking a chance on something new.

I haven't really watched Days since its move to Peacock, but I always enjoyed him on the show before that. I hope this ends up being a great move for him, but it's Y&R and Griffith so I'm skeptical. He'll be the flash-in-the-pan for a couple of months and the show will move on. Assuming he's Cane, saddling him with a past character won't help.

I guess I’ll just skip ahead to his debut. I’ve always enjoyed him as Chad. Happy Chad will still be around for months too.

Poor Billy Flynn.

Leaving Days when it finally seems to be on the upswing.

And arriving at Y&R when it is in the pits.

His character is going to have to be dynamite to make any impression.

'Now Billy, your first scene is with Eric. He will make limited eye contact because he is reading cue cards and his lines are also on phones, menus etc

These are the sets you will be working with on a daily basis-CL,Society,GCAC and Jazz Lounge.

And work on these key words-merger, takeover, acquisition...'

The last paragraph:
To the fans of Y&R, who are speculating about who he'll be playing, Flynn says, "I hope you enjoy it. I put the work in and I'm giving it my all, so please be kind."

Which translates

I am sorry for the [!@#$%^&*] that's coming. Don't hate me. I don't write it

Well with #1, he obviously hadn't read any scripts when he made that statement, #2 will happen and as for #3- the only thing he might learn is that the grass isn't always greener.
