I'm happy this thread is seeing lots of interactions, but it's only been one week and we're on page 81! Even for a weekly thread, that is HUGE!

As you said, it'll eventually taper down, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing for the show. We shall see.

The posters will decide where things go from here, of course.

We're not doing daily threads.  I hated them.  LOL  It clutters the forum.   There's a reason why the star or circle to the left of every thread title is useful. 

I like the monthly topics. With my ADHD if there is a new topic every day or week... That will make me go crazy. (Not Dani level crazy don't worry) I like everything in one place. It calms me down. But thats just my opinion. Hahaha. I will adapt with anything ❤️😂

Regardless, I for one do not want to keep up with daily threads in perpetuity lol. I'd personally keep it to monthly myself for now (uh, unless it hits 150).

It does, but OTOH Ted already knows. How long can that sustain itself?

I do think they know they have to hit hard out of the gate to compete, so I don't have a problem with the pace atm - it's strong but doesn't feel rushed to me, unless everyone finds out about Dana and Eva immediately. But they're also saying in advance press that things get really crazy in late April in time for May sweeps. So I wonder what that will look like, and if we have a classic Guza-style event setpiece for May (and IMO they might as well).

As if we aren't used to the best HW seasons have an event every episode. 😜 

 

I would think to keep momentum BTG would at least give us one event a week. If not something to build up to a weekly cliffhanger.

 

 

And since it's now been mentioned so I don't have to avoid mentioning it yep on end of April/start of May Sweeps. Which is why I speculated about Guza being in the house because by that point, I bet the shows will be working well enough for one of his Sweeps events.

The last time I clearly remember daily threads occurring on this board was back in summer/fall of 2008 especially with Y&R and OLTL as the MAB/Sheffer/Rauch/Hamner crew and Carlivati material at the time excited everyone including myself. Unfortunately it turned out to be wool being pulled over everyone’s eyes in the long term. 
 

A weekly thread wouldn’t be a bad idea. I’m just now finally caught up and don’t even know where to begin replying or share my thoughts LOL. I’ll  share here in a bit though.

Yes at least weekly, maybe daily. 

With a monthly thread, those who wish to remain unspoiled, if they are a few days behind, would have to wade through pages of discussion of episodes they haven't seen yet.

Also with the show now streaming on Pluto, all the Pluto viewers would be a week behind, so I think weekly or daily makes more sense than monthly.

 

Edit, perhaps I agree with the poster that said daily might be too confusing?  Too many threads to search through? Unless BTG gets its own section on SON, there would be too much to have 30 daily BTG threads mixed in with all the threads on other soaps.

Week two is in the books and already, I can see the technical improvements. BTG, is definitely the soap we all needed right now. I love this soap and I honestly can't say anything negative about it. Sure, some of the cast is green, but I am willing to give them some time. And the expository dialogue, it is a must especially for viewers that are not as passionate as we are and watching daily.

The character I hate (maybe love later) is Martin. I love Nicole the best after 2 weeks. Vanessa was a surprise and I love her too.
