Seeing Hayley confront Naomi over the lawsuit is what I'm really looking forward too. That's a huge overstep for Hayley and it might push Naomi to move forward.

I know this is the unspoiled thread.
Just an fyi, for anyone interested,
there's a new promo for week of March 24 on the March spoilers thread.
Different from the "next week on BTG" preview video
They are both at  (link) if you want to compare.

There IS a new episode today, right?

I'm getting confused. The NO-episodes was last week, right?

Last week they only aired Mon-Wednesday. This week is a full week from Mon-Friday.

Today marks a month since BTG premiered. Still wish they started with more of a bang and slow burned until May Sweeps, but I'm excited to see what's to come.

Did we ever get any numbers from two weeks ago?

Wow, a month already! At first I thought their launch date was odd but now I think putting themselves smack dab in Black History Month was probably an inspired idea & before that they had the last week of February sweeps, so all in all, I don't think there's fault there.

Today is the one month anniversary isn't it? And making announcements about firings BEFORE we arrived at it. The showrunners really need to be careful going forward.

Clarifying that we don't know if it was a firing or not.  That's all being discussed on the other thread.

It's been 84 years but we back lol.

What an interesting weekend this show has had on social media. I kinda chuckled because I can tell new soap fans versus OG ones.

It is refreshing to see in a way - newbies shocked by a typical soap recast, and it's encouraging for the show to be gaining an entirely new audience. I did not think that was wholly possible on network, but I did know if there was going to be one it would be a new generation's Black audience.

It's also why I think the way the show is paced and structed is intentional. Most of this new audience is probably streaming and binging the show and the show has to be produced in a way to serve that need.

I get it, and I think the pacing has worked for them so far - it's in an interesting sort of an in-between zone between the classical rhythms and something almost primetime-esque, but it hits the right spot for me because it's still not primetime soap speed.

The pacing is not where any of my issues lie so much as some of the casting and dialogue work, but the scripts vary between good/great or mediocre, and I suspect a lot of that or casting issues/dud characters will get ironed out in time as with any new soap.

Yes. My younger cousins are in LOVE with the show. It's really cute to see
