OMG!!! Martin is STILL trying to sabotage Smitty. Such an a$$.

The camera angle when Ted runs into Silk Press Sheila was EVERYTHING.

The dialogue in the Silk Press Sheila vs Ted conversation is superb. And they are both bringing it. Nice to see Ted finally show nervousness and sweating. 'Been there, survived that.' YAS, QUEEN!!!

You just know they are going to run into each other and Kat is going to be LIVID.

It's like @Cheap21 said before...if they are not sisters, I will be shocked because the writing is settling it up beautifully.

Ooo something to add to my library quote.

Hehe. I love it when Vernon flex. Just because he's the nice guy most of the time, don't let the gentleness fool you. Anita ain't the only one with backbone and the will to use it.

Wait...so Martin does know what his secret is??? I just thought he had repressed memory on it. That colors things.

HELL-HO, TED'S DOCTOR FRIEND!!! Is every guy on this show hot and attractive?

*gasps* Eva had Silk Press Sheila kicked out? Well...well-done. That is how you do a stall and still have movement in a storyline and it NOT feel like a stall. Some shows could take note. *sips*

Lol. YES. I get a kick out of her using that every time she sees him. But I loved it. She was giving me Eileen Davidson's version of Kristen on DAYS. And that is very high praise for me.

As soon as Nicole told her to get something out of Kat's closet I wondered what the hell she was thinking. Kat's going to lose it when she sees pics of Eva in her dress.

Everybody looked so beautiful in this ep. At the same time this ceremony felt weirdly small. The whole ceremony was just Nicole's family members telling a room full of other family members how awesome she is. In this case I'm willing to trade extras in the scene for the fabulous fashions.

See? I came in late today (but will be rewatching later) and didn't know. That just makes it worse. I agree. Kat is going to be so livid.

I liked it, but I agree it felt small, but the fashions and just seeing extras. It's been a minute and I can't say I hate that.

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.

    • Opal having siblings could add to the story. However, it raises questions about Tad's adoption. Why were the Martins allowed to adopt him if Tad had aunts or uncles who could have cared for him?  Logic limited the number of possible Gardner's (and whatever Opal's maiden name was).  Even though Linda Thorson would have been a hysterical choice given her British accent.  Especially because SOD often published questions by readers who wondered why Tad and Jenny didn't speak like their mother.   All of which is still not an excuse for Tad's evil doppelgänger Ted.
    • And if I remember correctly, at one point, they were considering having Linda Thorson play Opal's sister.
