Well...I would say it's off to a good start.

So? Hope saw the Daphne/Carter kiss. And she is beside herself. Still...good to see Steffy's plot moving.

And those Luna/Finn scenes. Not as good as I was expecting given how good I felt last week was. But it did have build to it. And then...Finn revealed he is her father. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I do worry that Luna might be redeemed too quickly. And I was over 'woe is me' Luna in this episode. I mean...does she not have her eyes on Will?

I think the thing that really annoyed me was Taylee. GIRL, SHUT UP. Steffy is already worried, and Taylee was not at all helping.

Tanner's acting is so stiff. I felt nothing during his scenes with Luna.

Steffy just made a beeline to Bill's..

I saw Steffy’s explosion lol.

if you’re Luna and Bill, what do you say when Steffy leaves?   “Welp that went great, things are gonna be just fine !”  ???????????lolll

A Sheila sighting outside of the restaurant - has she been there longer than Luna's been at Bill's house?

There's no gas left at all in the Hope/Carter pairing or the takeover story, time to end them both. I'd love for Steffy and Hope to have a detente where they plot for Hope to convince Carter to sign FC back in exchange for Steffy selling her HFTF.

I don't get the obsession with making Hope out to be this super villain who makes Carter feel powerless. I really wish she were written that way.

Carter isn't a boy that is being led around. It's annoying how he just blankly stares most of the time, as if he has no autonomy and can't make his own choices.

I'm still waiting for Luna to stop all her crying and go back to being a psycho.

I'm waiting for Luna to get her ass back in jail where she belongs.  It is a ridiculous story line that Bill could get her out after murdering two people and kidnapping a third.  I just can't watch her on my screen any longer!

It's been worth streaming the past two weeks if only because I knew JMW would give us gold. I didn't not expect Steffy to read Luna/$B in the same episode!

Oh Sheila! You're life is about to get really interesting! It's about time.

The Finn/Poppy story would be better if they stopped with the white privileged boy being victimized by the nefarious WOC. Poppy didn't have to be destroyed to make it work. The actors are the same age. For months we were shown that Poppy was a warm, caring person who did her best despite her quirks. The real, honorable Finn would standup for Poppy against the extremely hypocritical and tainted Forrester clan.

@Soapsuds $B is so smart that he's voluntarily put himself in lockdown with no staff, but his compound either isn't gated and if it is he doesn't have security call him to announce potential visitors. Beyond idiotic.

For awhile I was confused mainly because you’re not expected to have a memory.   The entire takeover plot was Carter’s idea.  But now he’s acting like the victim and frankly, it’s gross.  I would rather have Hope play along and sell Carter out as you said.  And have her confront him.  This was all your idea, remember?  So you go right back to them disrespecting you under the guise of being their family member and “broey dude” with Ridge.  But I’m not. If you can change your mind - not caring that I - and the Logans have again have to live under the bus - then I can change my mind as well.  You want to save some nebulous relationship you think you have with the Forresters? Awesome:  I’m going to do the same with the Hope FT Future Line and look out for #1 too.  No problem with that. Bye.

100%.

I'm also stuck on when and where Ridge started to hate Hope, calling her all types of names. Hope is flaky and was horny all last year but she's not written as a vixen. Brad Bell is gross for how he makes Hope the dumping ground for the characters. Even Brooke couldn't support her.

I'm not the biggest Hope fan, but she has been thrown under the bus. At least commit to making her a villain.

Finished off this week while spring cleaning. And I still liked it. Well except for Taylee.

I think I must have missed the scenes of Carter/Daphne so I was happy for the flashback. Because one minute, she was kissing on him. And then she was off and running. So...she really DOES like Carter. And see Hope as a hussy. lol. But I loved Hope getting in her face and telling her what time it is.

Other than that, I felt the truth about Finn and Luna was played pretty gradually. But I've said that I liked how it went from just talk for two weeks in February to just flowing since mid-February. So it was nice the movement kept right on going. I'm a fan of when reveals happen (and they are not happening at a major event) and how it comes out gradually across a soap canvas. So slowly Ridge found out and Ridge was...Ridge. RME. And then there's Bill finding out. And finally Finn told Steffy where Luna was. And now that's going to be a whole mess.

I CANNOT believe Steffy just stormed over there. Did she forget that girl KIDNAPPED her? Good Friday cliffhanger, but still...

That said...

It's too late for Luna. She was written into a corner. Brad writing for her was awful. He finally gave her an edge but went too far. I'm so over her routine of poor me. She did that during her RJ days, and it was boring to watch. Luna, like Sheila, has overstayed her welcome.

I hate Hope. I wish someone would give her a major Smackdown.

As for Finn, Tanner's acting today wasn't good. He had zero reaction to Luna's pleas. And please no more scenes where Finn has to cry or emote. Enough with his big bug eye acting.

I don’t hate Hope and in fact lately I like her a little which has not been often since Kim Matula played her.  I’m tired of Hope being the victim of plots.  Victim in the baby switch, victim when Quinn wanted Steffy with Wyatt, Victim every single time with nutso Thomas (except the last time and I don’t care about Thomas’ feelings because he’s another one with no redemption for me), Hope the victim in Steffy’s perfume plot.

Luna and Sheila are appropriate that we are tired of both and one of their non-toes.  Maybe Luna’s alter personality will have a missing toe that regrows when she’s real-Luna hahahahaha  - and reminds me again - so tired of the “I don’t know what happened it was like I became someone else”.  We don’t care, much like Trump buying a Tesla.  We just do. not. Care.

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
    • I was really starting to enjoy it, but after Anspach, Shelton and Keane left, it got a bit blah to watch. Jane Russell was great as Rose, Buddy Ebsen as Toat was interesting as well.  If a second season were in the cards, I would have signed  Karen Carlson on to a contract and cast a couple more women as regulars. The cowboy aspect could continue. Sam Elliott, as always, was fantastic,  The camaraderie between Roy and Quisto was really good as well. Cybill... she was sex on a stick and unapologetic.   Poor Robin Wright barely lasted five minutes, though, before being raped and murdered.
    • I love it that we've gone from daylight to dark -- Luna's even returned to work -- but Steffy is still sitting next to shirtless Finn on the sofa.

    • Is the current DiMera mansion the same mansion Stefano moved into around 1983?  I remember that house was out near a lake, and not far from Doug Williams' night club.  In fact, there was a tunnel connecting Doug's Place to the DiMera mansion.  If it supposed to be the same house, I'm fairly sure it is not the same set.  But I'm aware sometimes soap opera sets change without any explanation
    • Amazing work @slick jones I remember watching and enjoying Yellow Rose but losing interest once they went to self contained episodes, Interestingly that's the opposite of what Dallas, KL and FC did. So maybe YR should have been more episodic at first and then go to a fully fledged serial. But really the timeslot was the problem -Sat @10 was not the spot for a serial. And Rounders turned out to be a poor lead in. Maybe 9-11 Tues following A Team would have helped.
    • LOL!!! He looks like he is reacting as if Luna just passed bad gas or something.
    • Doug Marland came on board shortly before Gloria Monty, I believe. Jackie Smith was in charge of ABC daytime at that point. All of the characters in place were not his creations. Alan was created by Irving and Tex Ellman who wrote the hurricane story a few months before and brought in Alan, Scotty, David Hamilton, Dorrie and Lisa/Lana. His first character was  Bobbie in Jan 78. Apart from wrapping up the Lan/Lisa story he pretty much kept all the stories going just adding new elements.
    • She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps.
