This was written before Leslie Charleson passed away and they had hoped that she could appear. Monica is still alive for this but offscreen. The character Laura will be featured at the dedication. The article says that there will be a separate tribute episode filmed later to honor Monica... (it doesn't say but presumably after the character passes away?)
