Would someone please refresh my memory as to where on the globe these fake soap locations were? I'll give my assumptions in parenthesis.

Tanquir, AW (Morocco)

Montega, ATWT (Argentina)

San Cristobel, GL (British Virgin Islands)

Baraq, Capitol (Iraq)

Whatever the name of the Alamains' country was, DOOL (Yugoslavia)

San Cristob*l with an a, with an e, this name occurs  in 3 soaps - AW, GL & ATWT, I think. I know it's in 3 soaps & I know 2 of them are definitely AW & GL but the third might be DAYS and not ATWT. Who else can help?

And, was it not Alamaina?

What about Aremid?

And have you forgotten Melaswen?

From my notes:

San Cristobal with an “a” is from ANOTHER WORLD. Mac, Carl, their fathers, Ian Rains & his father, and Paulina had history on that equatorial island. Paulina was visiting there researching her past & fell for both Ian & Jake McKinnon!

San Cristobel with an “e” is from GUIDING LIGHT and is the island kingdom where Prince Richard & Prince Edmund were from. Others with history there were Reva when she was Princess Katherine, Jonathan, Olivia, etc.

More notes:

Melaswen (backward spelling of New Salem) DOOL

San Cristobel with an e Guiding Light where Josh & Reva are arrested in San Cristobel (with an e) San Cristobel with an e Guiding Light

San Cristóbal Island with an a Another World, located in Galápagos Islands.

Geography: Location Galápagos Islands, Ecuador Coordinates: 0.83°S 89.43°W Archipelago Galápagos Islands San Cristóbal (Chatham) is the easternmost island in the Galápagos archipelago, [1] as well as one of the oldest geologically. It is administratively part of San Cristóbal Canton, Ecuador. Its Spanish (and official Ecuadorian) name “San Cristóbal” comes from the patron saint of seafarers, St. Christopher. English speakers increasingly use that name in preference to the traditional English name of Chatham Island, derived from William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham. San Cristobel with an e and San Cristobal with an a, 2 different island spellings, with only one letter apart for 2 PGP shows.

And, from Another World, Tanquir, Cecile’s kingdom long ago & Grant & Cindy hiding out there.
