I think the most beautiful woman on current GH, since there is no other ABC/Disney soap at the moment, is Brooke Kerr, Portia.

I'm quite concerned. Cody was hated & they went to great lengths to rehab the character & they succeeded with that effort. But wallowing in self-pity & trying to shake down people who have become friends is so unflattering!!!

So, this weekend I got a Google Alert on, of all people, Hayley Pullos. Perplexed, still I followed the link, only to be met with total & complete hilarity. What it was, was a rumor said to have started "somewhere on Facebook" & you are not going to believe what it said!!! I'm sure we will all be surprised, to say the absolute least, that she is returning to the role of Molly next month. [Pause for laughter.] I nearly bust a gut I laughed so hard!!! When rumors like this, especially when they are totally devoid of anything at all like reality, the humor they afford is like nothing you can find anywhere else!!! I hope you enjoyed this little "gem" (?) as much as I did!

No, not actually posting OT, not at all, I think we all are glad about that!. Personally, I get a thrill out of the idea of Yuri telling Drew he could go no farther!!! You know how polite Yuri is, he probably said, I'm sorry, Mr. Drew but they won't let you go inside.

So I noticed on my calendar that last week was the anniversary of the firing of Dan & Chris. I mention it because it has meaning to us because it means that Korte has now been co-HW for a year. Can you believe this year went by so fast?

Of course it also means that it's been a year since Mulcahey began his all too brief tenure.

Now, about today, I loved Kristina's reaction to Natalia letting herself into Sonny's place, with her own key. WHOA. Talk about suspicious!

Moving on, when Sonny referred to himself as "Daddy" it was so awful. Ewww. Cringe. And, my thought on why Sonny has not told his people about his heart is because the man is basically a coward. No nuts. (Even more than Chase.)

Now, as you know, I've claimed from Day One that Dex is alive. Well, if you inquire about setting up an interview with him (Evan), you are referred to the GH PR person. And, this weekend Eden & Chad did a zoom & when asked something about him she made a kinda coy soapy statement, like, Well, you know, on soaps no one is ever really dead.

Lord. I knew it was too good to last. I didn't mind the episode screaming plot, plot, plot movement, plot. But clearly, Tracy can't stay steely or cunning for tooo long. Waka, waka indeed.

Tracy with her fingers in her ears. Martin and Tracy being silly in their arguments. Anna being useless but having time to play wacky Spy v Spy stuff with Brennan. Maxie on Natalia Propping duty (though I loved ELR's hair). Sidwell still walking around without running into anyone he almost had killed last year. Oh, how my eyes rolled.

Thankfully, there were some nice nuggets in the episode. Michael's exit. I don't know if it's forever or for now...but there was a nice bit of drama there. I even laughed at Kristina's snark. It's been a minute since I've liked anything Kristina so I'll take it. I'm itching for Carly to really get on the loose to give Drew and Willow Hades so her continuing tension with Willow and finding any and all ways to talk crap about her to anyone within earshot...INCLUDING WILLOW...was hilarious to me. And Drew has truly grown to be the person I love to hate with his prick self. And finally, a hint of backbone toward Drew from Willow. If I was disappointed about anything, it was the fact that Michael's exit really was not about him so much as moving the pieces around...like the Michael/Sasha baby secret and Michael trying to tell Carly. You know...plot. And I just feel if Korte was in charge of the episode for the day, there might have been more emotional resonance.

I completely forgot about the Avery custody case storyline and what led to Kristina flying out that window so what started off as silly Ava/Alexis scenes with some Kristina involved turned into something more intriguing. Cuz duh...Ava just bested Kristina in court.  Which means she can STILL have her testify. And with the drama between Ava and Alexis over the Cassadine money, another layer of intrigue has been added. And I loved the Kristina namesake shoutout.

I was so hoping that Jason had the kids so disappointed. Though I'm always here for Jason vs Drew.

Maura West knows she can rock some leather pants.

Die, Sonny, die!!!

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
