I don't know but I assume this January 7th GH preemption is for coverage of President Jimmy Carter's body being brought from Atlanta to Washington DC, and a ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda.

Speculation that there might be another preemption Thursday January 9th, to be announced.

And who names these characters? I can't think of anyone that age or of that background having the name "Chance."

It's Jenz Sidwell, not Chance.

Chance! LOL! Wonderful mishear. Perhaps a mondegreen? And, I'd suggest in the 80s Chance would have had a fair shot at being a character name where Jens or Jenz whichever it is, wouldn't have. Like the name Bolt in SOAPDISH.

Honestly, I'm kinda proud of myself for naming him Chance. Gave me something to think about during the scenes.
