Members janea4old Posted January 4 Members Share Posted January 4 (edited) Yes I think it's likely that the networks will cover the National Cathedral funeral, but obviously not the private funeral later in Plains. If it's only the Cathedral ceremony itself, then it might not impact the soaps. However, I speculate that the networks might possibly? have coverage for several hours around the funerals, including the transport ceremonies as his body and his family are brought on and off aircraft, and the family staying at Blair House (the guest house next to the White House) etc. But I'm only speculating. It's also clearly a bizarre quick change, since they had set up Michael being vengeful over Willow and Drew, then dropped it all for him moping around lovelorn and boom, burnt to a crisp.
